Remember how I told you back in December that a Broadway production of Xanadu was debuting this season? Well, that's still happening, but Jane Krakowski of "30 Rock" won't be participating. Though she originated the role when the show was first staged as a workshop, her "30 Rock" schedule won't permit her to star on both stage and the small screen. No word yet on Jane's replacement. My nominees are as follows:
- Christina Applegate: She was in the recent Broadway revival of "Sweet Charity" and she can skate, as demonstrated in Jessica Simpson's video for her single "A Public Affair".
- Kristy Swanson: The winner of "Skating with Celebrities"? Naturellement!
- The chick from Ice Castles -- okay, maybe I'm aging myself here, but a Google search for "rollerskating celebrities" didn't really turn up much at all.
