Charm School - "It's Mo's Birthday and I'll Cry If I Want To"

Shay and Larissa are still gloating about the role they played in Schatar's elimination last week. Brooke talks to Leilene about the whole incident - she's skeptical that Schatar did it because she had always 'fessed up in the past. I certainly hope this whole "picture thing" goes away soon - couldn't the producers think of something a bit more scandalous/compelling?

Anyway, this week the girls are working on the 8th commandment, "Thou Shalt Represent." They are going to learn how to be media savvy - more importantly, they are going to learn to think before they open their mouths (I have a feeling this lesson's going to fall on deaf ears, but that's just me.) The media coach is Kevin Frasier (of "Entertainment Tonight" fame. Nope, haven't heard of him either.) The girls are going to be subjected to a press junket with a "celebrity interviewer" (who VH-1 had no problem revealing to us last week.) His tips for media fabulousness are 1. Stay on the message; 2. Don't take the bait; 3. Damage control; and 4. Don't lose your cool. Yeah, the girls oughta shine at these!

The charmettes head off to a hotel for the junket, and Brooke is going first. She's really nervous. Of course, our celebrity interviewer is the trannylicious New York (here to promote the upcoming "I Love New York 2". Hey VH-1, Stick. Dead horse.) Brooke immediately violates one of Kevin's rules and starts talking about her problems with Larissa. Bad move. Saaphyri nails the interview (she never really had to deal with New York before, as she was out of Flav's pad long before NY showed up - not really a surprise here.) Larissa, Shay and Leilene all do well with the interrogation. (Side note - if New York's boobs get any bigger, they're going to need their own reality show.) Becky's up last. She's had her problems with Miss New York in the past, and she's hoping she doesn't just go off on her. Unfortunately, she sings like a canary under questioning. She admits she's surprised that Brooke's still around. The judges thought the interview was a complete train wreck.

The judges deem that Saaphyri won the challenge, so she's safe from elimination this week. Poor Becky starts crying and fears she's definitely going home this week. She wants to go cry on Mo's shoulder, but Shay dissuades her. Becky's not sure what Shay's motives are for that advice. Again, Leilene brings up the great picture caper. Ho hum. She asks Larissa about it, who immediately goes on the defensive (and calls Leilene a crackhead.) Shay just passes the buck. Shay says she's feeling worse and worse about the whole situation and hints that the truth may come out at elimination. Saaphyri and Becky are still suspicious of Shay and accuse her of staeling the photos. She's pissed that she got set up.

It's Mo's birthday, and the girls are told to make preparations. Saaphyri and Leilene work on the cake and the other ladies decorate. Becky confronts Shay about the theft and Shay vigorously defend her innocence. She also learned that Larissa was going to rat her out at elimination. Uh-oh. Miss Shay is ready to "bring it" with her (former?) best friend. Becky (who called out Larissa in an obvious "S**t Stirring" measure) is upset over the whole situation and cowers in the closet - in tears.

Mo arrives at her party and immediately notices that Becky's MIA. Mo goes to talk to her. While Mo's upstairs with Becky, Keith is trying to get to the bottom of things with the rest of the ladies. Shay eavesdrops on Mo and Becky and then goes in and asks Mo for a one-on-one of her own. Mo finally convinces Becky to stay. Shay tells Mo that she thinks Larissa should step up and admit her wrongdoings. Larissa hears of all of this and accuses Shay of being a snitch. Don't think these guys will be best buds anymore...

It's elimination time. The three ladies on the carpet this week are challenge loser Becky and the dynamic duo (to no one's surprise.) Keith calls Larissa a "certified psychopath" (which we all knew weeks ago, right kids?) Mikki also has nothing nice to say about her. So, of course, she's sent packing. Who's going to be the big winner? My hubby and I think it will boil down to Leilene and Saaphyri, with single mom Leilene winning the sympathy vote. Your thoughts?
