Spencer and Heidi at Le Pain Quotidien. Heidi cannot believe Lauren for her outburst, or Audrina for her taking Lauren's side. She doesn't seem especially affected, moving the conversation to painting the apartment. While Heidi envisions collecting swatches, Spencer goes ahead and gets graffiti painted in the living room. Believe me, it looks klassy with the new aquarium. Though Heidi wants to spend the weekend painting over, Spencer thinks they should spend that time in Santa Barbara. Whatever for? To get engaged, as Spencer's bought a non-returnable ring. Though Brody protested all the way, he accompanied his boy to boutique Ice to get the ring. The conversation they had in the car on the way didn't inspire any confidence that Spencer might actually settle down for real, but I suppose if Heidi accepts, then I have no choice but to sit back and hope I'm wrong for her sake.
New roommates Lauren and Audrina are bonding well, though Lauren is concerned that Audrina's going out to dinner with ex Justin, who abandoned Audrina in Las Vegas a few years earlier. Audrina's convinced he's changed, and brings Justin back to the apartment to re-introduce him to Lauren and Lo. Lauren and Lo, having just giggled over whether or not Justin wants to change his name to "Bobby", fail to make a good impression on the lad -- you can hear the crickets chirping as Justin and Audrina make a speedy exit, leaving Lo and Lauren to ponder the newly reunited couple.
With Heidi and Spencer shacked up, and Audrina and Justin rekindling their romance, Lauren has some thinking to do. She drives home to Laguna, where mom dispenses sage advice and bottled water (aw!). She reminds Lauren that Hollywood is not the whole world, and that there is a difference to be made between the bad deeds done by good people, and the bad deeds done by those who are genuinely bad. It's hard for Lauren not to have trust issues, given the events of the past year and her betrayals by Jason, Jen, and Heidi, but she's going to have to move on. She's got good friends, an internship, and school to keep her busy -- she shouldn't have the time or the energy to give to any drama.
Next week: Jason returns -- but for what and for how long? Does Heidi really care if she's never friends with Lauren again? And what's Whitney doing kissing Brody?

the kids on this show are out of control. they are all so young trying to act like grownups. they should enjoy being young adults and have fun instead of getting engaged at 23. thats a little much considering they are all super immature. anyways you guys have to check out this new camera that is coming out. its called the Z10 and its made by fujifilm. go to www.offzhook.com/z to check out the specs and to enter a contest to win a trip to NYC...
