Love doesn't always conquer all
Little do the houseguests know, it's a DOUBLE ELIMINATION WEEK! That means they'll play a WHOLE WEEK of Big Brother in ONE NIGHT. No wasting time in an episode such as this, so we start with:
Elimination #1: Jameka and Jessica are up on the block. Eric has faith that the Donatos will do the right thing, but Jessica has her doubts. Eric straight up asks Daniele if he has anything to worry about, and she reassures him that his lady love will be okay.
And yet, when the live vote comes along, Dick and Daniele vote alliance mate Jess out of the house. She leaves without hugging either of them. Inside the house, Eric tells D&D he understands, but would have appreciated the forewarning he asked for. Outside the house, on his farewell tape, he tells Jess that he loves her. Aw.
HoH: With only Dick, Daniele and Eric eligible to compete in the HoH, the pressure is on America's Player (and I am pulling for him....seriously, how are Dick and Daniele still in this house?!). It's a quiz comp, where the houseguests have to decide if two events in the house happened before or after one another. The three trade leads, but in the end, Dick wins.
Bad sign for Eric -- the Donatos definitely seem to have a solid pact with Zach, as Daniele jumps areound and hugs him.
PoV: BB rains rubber balls on the houseguests, who have to snag only the green ones and throw them in a tube. The live show element of this comp makes it a bit insane and difficult to follow. People have balls in their tube suddenly and unexpectedly thanks to Julie's crack announcing skills. At one point, she tells Jameka she is disqualified because there is a blue ball in her tube, but Jameka cries that she didn't put it there. Before the competition can get any more sloppy and violent, Zach wins.
It's at this point that I realize: If Zach saved someone, Dick would HAVE to put up Daniele, and then Zach and whoever he saved would have the only two votes, leaving the Donatos helpless. Do it Zach!
And...he doesn't. Darn.
Elimination #2: It's between Eric and (once again) Jameka. Eric makes the very strong point that he has only won one competition and the jury hates him, but he gets sent home anyways. Now I have to ask: how is Jameka in this game? Losing those 5 HoH comps was the best thing that happened to her.
Outside, Eric tells Julie that while America's Player was fun, it really hindered his game. Having to get rid of Dustin and Amber changed his whole strategy, and eventually caught up with him. Oh well. At least he's going to sequester with Jess!
Your final four are: Dick, Daniele, Jameka and Zach. Urgh. Do I want ANY of these people to win? They'll play their HoH, on Sunday.
