Big Brother 8- Things Gets Nasty(er)

Wow -- do I like any of these people? They went from "eh" to "ICK!" in one episode.

With Eric and Jessica gone, Dick and Daniele feel like they have the game sewn up. They run off to the round bed room and giggle like school girls as Dani suggests that they now turn on Zach. Oh tee hee, wouldn't that be grand!

At the HoH competition, Dick watches on as Daniele competes against laughable toss-aside alliance member Zach and Jameka. This is Jameka's first HoH competition since the Eisenhower administration, so she's understandably a bit overexcited, and plays her way out. Daniele and Zach answer the same number of questions correctly, so the game comes down to a tiebreaker. Their answers are only one digit off, but Zach wins. Daniele is FREAKED. Ignoring Zach isn't so funny anymore, is it?

Dick, playing the Eric role for the week, tries to convince her that Zach will stick to their agreement. Besides, the week really comes down to who wins Veto, no? The only person not nominated holds the only vote and all. Very tricky.

Not convinced, Daniele goes up to talk to Zach and convince him that he like, SO owes her and her Dad. Zach basically tells her he's had to play this game on his own, he's felt like an outsider the entire time, and if she helped him, he considers it luck, or fate. His lack of gratitude makes Daniele furious. He explains he has to do what's right for him -- he knows if he's in the final three with the Donatos, he's the odd man out.

Daniele gives him a "whatever dude, just try it" and storms out. Nice!

Downstairs, she tells her Dad about the talk, and he tells her to not worry about anything but the veto.

With the Donatos behavior pretty much cementing his opinion on who he should nominate, Zach pulls Jameka aside and tells her she's got to fight like hell for the veto. Fair enough Zach, but have you seen Jameka in competitions? The only time she won one, she used it to save Jen -- and the rest of the game has been bad karma for that move.

At the nomination ceremony, a puffed-up Zach puts Dick and Daniele up while they make snide comments from the peanut gallery. I'm not sure about this foursome. Zach has delusions of grandeur. Dick and Daniele are straight-up assholes, and Jameka is in space.
