Who knew what Henry was hiding under here?
Bradford's gone, Claire's in jail, and Wilhelmina has left the building. Where does it all leave Betty?
NO MO' GIO!!: (Can you tell how I feel about this storyline?) Hilda is getting her back porch beauty salon together and she needs her hair washing sink driven to Queens, so she gets Betty to enlist Gio's help. At the Suarez's, Gio mocks the G-rated relationship that Betty and Henry have and tells Hilda and Betty how he would make memories with HIS girl.
As he grabs Betty and dances, Henry enters and furrows his little nerd brow. No biggie! says Betty.
Hilda asks Gio out on a date, deciding she's ready to try to move on from Santos. They're going dancing and Gio wants to double with Betty and Henry. It's their movies and ice cream night, so they say no, but Betty has her doubts.
When the date night comes, Betty cracks mid-movie and tells Henry they should be out there dancing and making memories too. Henry reluctantly agrees, and they meet up with Hilda and Gio.
As Henry's jealousy over Gio grows, bad luck befalls him. His sleeve catches on fire, and he tells Betty he doesn't want to be there, but then turns it around. He takes off his singed shirt and dances like a mad man for Betty, who realizes all she needs is Henry, no matter where they are.
A lot of shirtless time for Henry these days, no? It's making me feel like a perv.
Hilda and Gio wrap up their night, and Hilda tells him that while she had a blast, they won't be doing it again. She thinks he wants the other Suarez sister, and the look on Gio's face says she's right.
WHO'S THE BOSS: Bradford's videotaped will which was meant to name Alexis or Daniel as his successor at Meade was not recorded properly (or at all), so the kids don't know how to decide who gets the big office.
On their mother's suggestion, they turn it into an old childhood competition: paintball. Because it's raining, the battle takes place at Mode, with them each leading a team. Eventually, it's down to Nick and Alexis vs. Daniel and Amanda.
Amanda takes out Nick only to be shot by Alexis. No matter, these former foes are hot for each other after all the paintball anyways (love these two characters, so I love them even more as a reluctant couple). Daniel traps Alexis and goes in for the kill, but like the good guy he is decides instead to give her his hand and offer to run the company together.
With his guard down, Alexis shoots him and takes the day. Bitch! But, as Daniel tells Betty later, maybe it's for the best. At least he now has Mode all to himself! No Alexis or Wilhelmina!
SLATER: Speaking of Willie, her new Slater employees are not pleased by their lack of paycheck -- it seems funding for the mag hasn't come through because of its Editor in Chief's reputation for being a cruel bitch.
With Mark's help, however, Willie does a day of well-publicized community service in the city, and gets the cash they need.
Of course, she promptly destroys the good will she's earned by getting caught on tape shoving Betty White out of a cab.
White reaches out to Willie and accepts an apology, even agreeing to do so on TV. But as soon as the cameras turn on, she starts screaming in pain and calling Willie a monster -- this is the first time people have been interested in her in years, she explains.
Back at the lair, Willie reveals plan B...a vial of Bradford sperm in her freezer (ew!). If she can't be a Meade, she'll give birth to an heir. Mahahaha!
