The Real World: Gettin' Down (Episode 23)

This week starts off with Isaac lecturing the camera on how he has commitment issues. He claims that anyone who knows him knows he is deathly afraid. He goes on to say that after Sydney he is ready for the next chapter of his life. But we're supposed to wonder.....what about Noirin? Cut to Isaac and Noirin- where Noirin is trying to convince Isaac to travel with her after the show is over. She has pamphlets and brochures for a three day booze cruise. Isaac tells the camera (and illustrates with a Barbie) that Noirin only wants to drink, party, and get down. I'm failing to see the problem coming from the guy who is "deathly afraid of commitment". She tries to sell him on even making a stop in Thailand- where the whores are cheap! $20 can apparently get you a whore there. Later on in the car, all the roommates start talking about divorce as KellyAnne's parents are divorced.

Out of nowhere, Isaac announces that he has two children- a two and four year old. They all go silent until Ashli screams to shut up. She isn't buying this Daddy Isaac nonsense. Parisa immediately starts probing him for details. He says he had the first when he was seventeen and the second when he was nineteen. His parents weren't happy with him when he was seventeen but they love the kids. Isaac then urges them not to say anything to Noirin about it. Back home, Parisa and Ashli discuss Isaac's recent "confession". Parisa is convinced he might not be bullshitting. Ashli, on the other hand, isn't having it. Dunbar isn't sure what to think- which isn't new.

Dunbar says Isaac might have kids but he is known to tell some outlandish stories. Cue the Isaac storytelling montage- which is the best montage this season. He insists he is in the KKK and also an established priest in Arizona. He once got pulled over with guns and drugs. He robbed six houses and he killed someone. Yes, Isaac's stories range from the KKK to murder. More of this season should've focused on Isaac lying to all the idiots in the house. But this never-before-seen montage really puts the whole parent thing in perspective. Later on, it's time for Parisa and Noirin girl-talk time! Noirin says she is absolutely mad about Isaac. She laughs that she isn't quite sure why she likes him. Parisa is in awe with the awesomeness that is Noirin and takes a minute to tell the camera about it.

Alex, the Aussie man whore, calls the house. Parisa picks up. Today is his birthday. Parisa politely wishes him a happy birthday and hands the phone over to KellyAnne. Parisa decided that he is not worth pursuing after all the Trisha bullshit. KellyAnne takes it upon herself to invite Alex over. Later that night, Parisa and Alex have a much needed talk. He apologizes for making things awkward. He goes onto admit that he did really like Trisha. Alex insists that he just met Trisha first and she just happened to have an "awesome personality". Lets be serious. There was nothing awesome about Trisha. He might not be lying but he certainly should be. Meanwhile, Noirin starts talking about kids. Parisa can't even pretend to be cool about. Noirin thinks something is up. She asks Isaac if he has children. Isaac just walks away. Parisa continues with her smug look and giggles.

Isaac gets pissed. He tells Ashli and Parisa not to talk to him for the rest of the night. He says whether he is bullshitting or not they have no right to disrespect him or Noirin. The next night, Isaac, Noirin, and Ashli run into Alex. At the bar, Isaac and Noirin have a serious conversation about where their relationship is going. Noirin insists she wants more than to just get wasted every night. Isaac decides he is going to start taking their relationship more seriously. Cue the sappy Noirin/Isaac lovey montage. It's both adorable and touching. Ashli invites Alex back to the house for some hot tubbin. Ashli and Noirin jump in and Alex goes upstairs to wake up Parisa. He successfully drags her out of bed for a game of hot tub truth or dare. Ashli dares Alex to kiss Parisa for five seconds.

It's all very middle school but Parisa and the Aussie don't really need an excuse to makeout. Everyone leaves the tub. Parisa and Alex continue their business. After the steamy hot tub session, Parisa shows Alex to the door. They kiss and say their goodbyes. She is glad she got to hang with him before she left. Parisa says she is happy with how things worked out with Alex. She had fun without becoming emotionally invested, blah, blah, blah. Isaac buys two bottles of champagne and tells Noirin he wants to travel with her. Noirin is so excited- she cries and says she loves him. Isaac finally admits he doesn't have kids but since Noirin thought he did and was willing to do it any way means something. Next week: It's the final episode! Thank god!
