Daisy reminds us that we're now down to 10 girls, and Kristy Joe is thinking that she may actually have a chance with Bret. Bret and the remaining ladies went about "making bacon" - which, from as far as I could see basically meant drinking - and then Bret retired to his room, kissing every lady goodnight except horse-face Aubry, who was really miffed about the whole thing. Daisy is "really feeling" Bret and asks if she can walk him to his room and joins him inside. Bret wants to "really know" Daisy, and he sure seems to be getting to know the inside of her mouth - and most likely her esophagus - as they make out. Aubry is feeling unloved and neglected, and she spends some quality time in the pool venting about her feelings to Kristy Joe. For some unkinown reason, KJ is having difficulty grasping the concept that Bret is probably having his way with Daisy in his room, especially because they've been in his room for hours. I can't imagine what could possibly be going through germaphobe KJ's head right now. She admits she's got "jealous feelings." Totally not what I thought she'd say.
Megan woke up the next morning and noticed the bed next to hers was empty. Daisy strolled in like the cat that ate the canary. Megan calls her a "dirty ass ho." Daisy said she and Bret were "learning things about each other." Oh, so that's what they're calling it these days! Big John assembled the ladies in the dining room and the VH-1 editors made it look like everyone was giving Daisy the old stink eye. Bret's "Ukranian Love Tank" Inna read the note from Bret with their next challenge. They know it has to do with cars or motorcycles. As they head off in the limo, Aubry asks Daisy point blank if she slept with Bret. Daisy's response included a lot of "dudes" and "OKs" and asked if it was just ok to "hang out with" someone. So, obviously, she didn't "do it" with Bret.
The ladies arrive at a custom chopper house. Peyton declared that this was "her thing." Bret told the girls that they would be creating custom bikes. The wiring and technically intricate stuff was already done, the gals just had to do things like install tires, chains, axles and such. This oughta be good. The first team to gas up their bike and start the engine wins. Bret has broken the ladies into 2 teams, and each team has to choose a lead mechanic. The lead mechanic of the winning team gets the highly sought after date with Bret and the winning team gets to go on a group date "which is always a lot of fun", well, according to Bret it is. The losing team's lead mechanic has to clean Bret's bike with a toothbrush. Inna, Amber, Megan, Aubry and Daisy make up the first team (the black team), which leaves Jessica, KJ, Destiney, Catherine and Peyton to make up the second team (the pink team). Catherine is not at all happy to be on a team with KJ. Yes, they're still attempting to make KJ the enemy. She's too nice, she's definitely no Lacey - why don't they make Destiney the bad girl? I don't like her, and I'm sure you "ROL" regulars don't either!
The teams deliberate on who they want to be their lead mechanic. Inna says she had a brother who taught her "a lot of stuff". Peyton insisted that she was the best choice for her team, so that was easy enough. With the teams and lead mechanics in place, the gals went to work. First off, they had to change, offering the audience some gratuitous bra shots. Megan knew the most important part of the challenge was to look as "hot as possible" in her mechanic shirt. Ambre's distressed that the instructions for building the bike didn't come with illustrations. Peyton was becoming frenzied, trying desperately to win the challenge. Some poor dude at the cycle place, named Blake, was trying to help the gals out, and do things right. I hope he got paid lots of dough to deal with this lot. ("Where's the air cleaner?" "It's by the sign that says air cleaner.") The teams are pretty much neck-and-neck. Destiney says she feels like an idiot. When? Just now? The black team takes the lead and the pink team just needs some gas for the win. Oops, the pinks didn't hook up the gas line. Too bad, so sad. The black team won the challenge. Peyton's heart sank. KJ is mad that Daisy gets another date with Bret, since she feels they have a "connection" (gee, 15 minutes in and now it's time for the first drink!) Bret returns and finds out that the black team won and that Destiney sucked. Good. Bret decides that Peyton and Destiney will clean his bike together. Aubry is looking forward to the group date, so that she and Bret can make a connection (drink.) Inna gets a special motorcycle jacket and a solo date with Bret on his bike. Oh, is it evil to hope they're on one of the bikes the girls put together? Because you know they're not roadworthy!
Bret's excited about his date with Inna because he's "hot on her." "Her body...bike...hot...vibration...rrrrr." Yikes. Bret takes Inna to a restaurant while back at the house, Destiney and Peyton are in bikinis, cleaning Bret's bike with toothbrushes. Aubry's still stewing over the fact that Bret ignored her at goodnight kiss time. She wants to let Bret know that she feels insignificant to him. Inna tells Bret that she could see she and him together. Bret agreed, but seemed more concerned about his bike. When he got home, he saw his clean bike, topped with nasty skanks. Yep, gonna need to clean that seat off again. Moody Aubry slinks up and demands to talk to Bret, and he's not too happy to be interrupted. Aubry tells Bret that she's a karaoke host and that she "knows people." Bret feels that Aubry's treating him like they've been in a long, nagging relationship. Bret thinks she's a little needy. She asks Bret to send her home if he's not feeling her. She talks to KJ who says she needs to do what's right and feels she can't move forward with Bret until she deals with her past. She assembles all of the girls together and explains her history to them. She's debating whether or not she should leave or not. Destiney tells her to go talk to Bret, Megan just thinks she should head home. KJ goes to Bret and says that the timing for this whole thing was bad and she's really developed feelings for Bret, but she has a lot to deal with at home. Bret's ready to deal with baggage, but he can't deal with pre-existing emotional connections. Bret doesn't want to let KJ go, but if she needs to go, she can. He sends her off to bed to think about everything and talk again tomorrow.
The next morning, the girls all assemble in the living room for another note from Bret. Daisy is confused that KJ is still there. Soccer mom Ambre tells reads the note, which tells that today, they're the star. The note also says that one lady will be heading home at elimination. Ambre, Daisy, Megan and Aubry get to have a pin-up photo shoot as their winning date with Bret. Bret thinks this is going to be hot. The gals get dolled up in 50s style clothes. Megan doesn't want to look like someone in the 50s, because she's 22. I still hate her. Megan poses with a bike. Moody Aubry does a jungle-esque shoot and soccer mom Ambre does a patriotic-themed shoot. Daisy just hos it up on a big mattress. Bret notes, "The breast-rib combination...lovely." Bret abd the gals then head outside for food n' drinks. Aubry gets into a deep conversation about people getting hurt in the house, and Bret brings up his conversation with "what's her face" (Kristy Joe) the night before. I think for Bret, "what's her face" could be any of the ladies in the skankery. Utterly forgettable. He thinks KJ is in the house for the wrong reasons, and Aubry takes it upon herself to report to KJ what she heard. KJ is annoyed that Bret thinks she's fake. She's really pissed.
KJ stormed off and went to talk to Bret. She wants to know how he really feels about her. He's just ready to let her spread her wings. She says she has a lot invested in this so far. Bret thinks he might not be the one, but all of a sudden, KJ doesn't want to leave. What? I'm confused. Bret assembles the ladies for the elimination ceremony. Bret assures that ladies that it's only going to get worse from here. Daisy gets the first pass. No shocker. Soccer mom Ambre gets pass number 2. Also getting passes were Peyton, Inna, Catherine, Jessica, Destiney and yucky Megan. It's down to Kristy Joe and Aubry, who looks like Hedwig, from a bus and truck production of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" in her 50s makeup and 'do. Aubry knows she's getting the last pass and is having a hard time seeing her BFF, Kristy Joe so hurt. She asks Bret is she can voluntarily leave and give her pass to Kristy Joe. Bret and Destiney are both confused. Aubry says that sacrificing her pass for KJ is the biggest gift she's ever given. KJ tearfully embraces Bret. Aubry leaves the house in tears as well. Ironically enough, Bret was planning to send Aubry home anyway. Ha! Bret asked KJ to drop her guard so she can know what she's all about. The gals think she's playing head games with everyone. She's so not the bad gal here! Next week, it's Bret's Mud Bowl II!
