The Bachelor: London Calling

I have no idea why but English men are sooooo hot to me.  So I can proudly say that I am already drooling over the new bachelor, Matt Grant.  No relation to Hugh Grant :).

For the first time ABC has decided to bring in an international man of mystery, and no I'm not talking about Austin Powers.  Matt is a proper, British gentleman, who is an international banker in London.  He grew up outside of London and is the youngest of five boys.  In college he was the captain of the rugby team and when he graduated moved to London to pursue his career.  He's only 27 but feels ready to meet the woman of his dreams. 

I seriously can't believe that he is 27.  I'm 26 and he seems so mature. I consider myself mature but damn he is sophisticated and charming.

Matt loves the states and explains that he left everything for this experience.  He hopes to meet the future Mrs. Grant.  Hell based on this episode I'll be the future Mrs. Grant.

Matt pulls up to the Malibu mansion driving a Maserati. Damn, those cars are smoking hot! It's raining outside but that doesn't stop Matt from hoping that he'll fall in love from this experience.

Chris sits down with Matt and asks him if he would have rather done all of this in London.  Matt likes to be tested and is glad that he is here.  He explains that he works in finance and how hard it is to meet someone genuine.  He hopes that his stupid sense of humor and height work to his advantage.  Matt will you marry me????

His 4 older brothers and are married and he knows that they would love to see him settle down as well.  Matt was in love before but it wasn't the right time.  After that experience he was asked to be on "The Bachelor." Matt explains that he is ready to settle down because his parents are from another generation.  They are older and it is important to him that his parents experience him starting his own family.

The women start showing up at the house just as there is a break from the rain.

1) Amanda R. is an Account Executive living in Niceville, Florida.  OK now this girl HAS be nice or else it would just seem strange. She tells Matt that she has lived in London before. 

2) Amy living in San Diego, California. She is a Nanny.

3)  Devon living in Austin, Texas.  She is a makeup artist.

4) Kristine a personal trainer living in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Matt mentions that he loves her dress.

5) Chelsea living in Santa Barbara, California.  She is a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep.

6) Erin H. living in Las Vegas who is an Event Planner.  I smell drama from this one.

7)Kelly is living in Los Angeles and is in Medical Sales.

8) Rebecca living in San Diego is an attorney.

9) Denise living in Washington, DC was a former Bush aide. 

10) Erin S. is a hot dog vendor in one of my favorite towns Venice, California.

11) Robin living in Orlando, Florida is an Advertising Coordinator.

12) Ashlee living in San Clemente, Florida is a singer/songwriter. I already can't stand this girl.  She seems soooo immature.

13) Alyssa living in Boise, Idaho is a Biology Student. She is by fair the prettiest girl to meet Matt.

14) Michelle living in Syracuse, NY is an Administrative Assistant.  She tells Matt that she didn't peek from the limo so they could both see each other for the first time.

15) Shayne living in Toluca Lake, California, is an actress. There is something about her that is rubbing me the wrong way.

16) Marshana living in Brooklyn, NY is fashion designer.  She shows up wearing some sort of Indian looking outfit.  I don't know what this girl was trying to prove other than she doesn't give a shit.

17)Amanda P is a Law Student living in Vegas.  She gives Matt a pair of fuzzy dice because she hopes it will bring him luck with all of this.

18) Tamara is a cocktail waitress living in Newport Beach, California.

19) Holly is a children's book author living in Hollywood.

20) Tiffany is a Real Estate Marketing Representative living in San Francisco.

21) Carri is a Church Marketing Representative living in Oklahoma City. She tells Matt that it doesn't get more American than her.  I seriously want to punch this girl already.

22) Stacey is a Graduate Student living in Chicago.  Girl already seems like she has an attitude.

23)Lesley is a Youth Minister living in Tampa, FL

24)Michele is an Interior Designer from Laguna Niguel, CA. 

25)Noelle is a photographer living in Hollywood.

Matt is blown away but all these women.  Chris explains to him that  whoever he gives the first impression rose to tonight will be safe at the rose ceremony.

Chelsea, tells Brad that she wants to arm wrestle him.  Really....

Denise talks about politics with Matt.  Carri eats part of her soda can and gives it to Matt to remember her by.  Another reason to punch this so called all American Girl.

Attorney, Rebecca starts shaking her ass to get this party started.

Michele, the Interior Designer decides to play rock paper scissor with Matt. Considering she is butt she should have thought of a better game plan.

My least favorite girl Ashlee, who I believe looks like an uglier version of Leelee Sobieski , sings a song that she wrote for Matt.  Damn it's bad.

Michelle from Syracuse, brings out her clarinet to play for Matt.  She explains that she needs to wet her reed so it can vibrate. Wow girl is forward!

Stacey has won the title of the token nut bag this season.  She drank a little too much and the girls already seem to hate her.

Erin is trying to hold a conversation with Matt while Stacey keeps touching his knee.  Stacey proclaims that they are boring her so Matt starts asking her questions.  Stacey starts talking about London and how she loves the ocean. Matt as nice as could be explains that London isn't by the ocean...Wow and this girl is a grad student. Shit man bitch.. Stacey slips a little something under Matt. underwears you ask??? Under him she leaves her white thong. Nasty, class less bitch.

After Stacey, passes out on a bed.

Matt sits down with Shayne and finds out that her whole family is in the entertainment business. Turns out her dad is actor Lorenzo Lamas but she mentions that that has nothing to do with her. Then why did she mention it?????

Noelle sits down with Matt and they discover that they are both the babies in their families. I like this girl. I predict that she will go far.

Matt seems to feel a connection with Robin. They talk about her living in London for a summer.

Suddenly, Matt leaves and picks up the first impression rose.  I thought he was going to give it to Robin but he ends up giving it to Amanda R. He feels something special with her.

After the first impression rose is given out it's time for Matt to decide what 15 ladies he will be pursuing relationships with and which ones will end up going home crying. 

The girls going home are.........

1)Alyssa.  I was sorry to see this.  She seemed sweet and really was the prettiest girl in the house.

2) Amanda P. I honestly didn't see Matt spending anytime with her.  Did she even get a shot at love? Oh wait...wrong show...

3) Denise. Rule #1. Don't talk to a man about politics when you first meet him. Leave that for the next date.

4) Devon. Neutral.

5) Lesley. Don't think she had much time with Matt either.

6) Michele. Sorry girl but rock, paper, scissors is not the key to winning an English mans heart.  Cooking him meat pie is :)

7) Rebecca. Guess she spent too much time shaking her ass.  I never knew that was humanely possible.......

8) Stacey. Crazy bitch is going home. Glad Matt has good taste.

9) Tamara. Too bad. She was a cutie.

10) Tiffany.  Who??? I don't remember her at all.

Looks from the previews to be an interesting drama filled season. And why did Matt keep Asslee????
