Whitney and Kelly talk fashion...Lauren comes home to find Audrina, laptop on her lap, relaxing on the couch. Is that work Audrina is doing? Whatever -- the roomies are all "Whee!" and hug hello. Lauren sounds like she has a cold, though any illness clearly has no negative impact on her ability to apply eyeliner which, once again, is flawless. Lauren tells Audrina about Paris -- not much time for play, what with all the work for the Bal, though she and Whitney did get to connect with Rock n' Roll. Also, Lauren is glad to have had the time away from L.A., and realize that there are other men out there who are not Brody. I can only hope this means we get some fresh eye candy for this show. I'm keeping my badly-in-need-of-a-manicured fingers crossed.
Panic! At The Disco sings us into the next scene after the c-break: Lisa Love has Whitney visiting her at her desk, as Whitney tells Lisa what she told Kimball in Paris. She wants to style, realizing after two years at TV that she wants to get out from behind the scenes and get more hands-on fashion experience as a styllist. As there is no current opportunity for that at TV, she'd like to move on to an opportunity with Kelly Cutrone and People's Revolution, though not without Lisa's blessing. Lisa, being reasonable and I'd imagine impressed with Whitney's pitch, agrees to give Whitney her blessing and a recommendation.
I love these interstitials with these shots of the buses in L.A. Like anyone featured on this show has ever actually used them. Bwahahaha. I know I've made this observation before, but it's still true. And it's funny because it's true.
Heidi is back to L.A., and working at Bolthouse. She relates to co-worker Kimberly that Spencer hasn't moved his stuff out of the apartment. When Kimberly relates similar issues with an ex of her own, saying that he was all "Well, you're not my girlfriend.", Heidi looks crestfallen.
So where is Spencer? At sister Stephanie's apartment, annoyed and bitching to sis about having to move out. He'll be staying with her, and he has a request: just keep Heidi away if the two girls hang out, as he doesn't want to be accused of not giving Heidi her space. Besides, what if he wants to start seeing other people? Stephanie is shocked that he would even consider doing that. I, however, am not.
Teen Vogue offices. Whitney is excited and confident about her interview with Kelly, psyched about her endorsement from Lisa. At the same time, how can she bear to leave TV and all her memories behind?
Whitney arrives at People's Revolution in LA, and it's a long way from TV. A storefront with clothes and accessories all over, Whitney meets Jessica the LA publicist (rocking a gorgeous blood red corsage with a black tank), who tells her Kelly will be right out. Whtiney seats herself at the waiting area in the middle of the space, which is in earshot of Kelly on the phone. Kelly's not pleased -- someone left a rack of clothes hanging out for a shoot, the clothes were stolen, and naturally someone stole them. Kelly wants to know who is the idiot who left clothes out like that. She doesn't sound like someone you want to mess with. Whitney looks a bit stiff, though Kelly seems a bit warmer when she comes out. Kelly outlines what PR does, which is producing shows (they do the most in New York) and styling celebrities out of Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. Whitney pitches her interest in getting more experience than she got at Teen Vogue, and her strength at styling for a number of different situations. Kelly is impressed that she's gotten approval of Lisa, whose aesthetic she feels is similar to her own, so she gives Whitney the gig. Though she warns Whitney that she's making a deal with the devil. What does tha mean? Only that Whitney is giving up her life for this job. Good thing is, though, that she'll be getting a whole new one. Geez -- is this fashion PR or the Witness Protection Program?
Stephanie and Heidi sit down for breakfast at Prana Cafe. Stephanie tells that Spencer is moving in, and going to date other girls. Heidi is all "Say what?" She was under the impression that all they were doing was living apart -- they're still together, right? She still loves him, yeah? Um, Spencer doesn't see it that way, I guess.
Hillside Villas. Lauren and Audrina are getting ready to go out. And Lauren still hasn't talked to Brody since she's been back. Whatevs -- they're both single, and ready to go out and "get in trouble". Trouble finds them at Les Deux, where she and Brody immediately get into a whole "where's your girlfriend/where's your parisian boyfriend" thing that has Brody leaving about two minutes after he walked in with Frankie. Frankie's disappointed as tells Lauren Brody was excited to her. Seriously, he insists -- they love each other (but what does that even mean, really?).
It's Lo! She and Lauren are eating lunch at Comme Ca. Lo senses something weird in Lauren, at which point Lauren tells her about seeing Brody. Brody has a way of making her feel like she's never good enough, and Lo's all "he has to work to make himself good enough for you." Aw! Lo's convinnced all Lauaren needs to do is find a nice boy. Oh, don't we all...
Spencer and Heidi's apartment. Excuse me, make that Heidi's apartment. Spencer packs up his Xbox, and "lets" Heidi have the tv. Never mind that they equally split the cost of two flat-screen tvs. He snipes "Enjoy your space" as he pushes his cardboard out the door...
Speaking of goodbyes, Whitney and Lauren reminisce about their early days at TV. Remember almost getting fired because of Heidi crashing the "Young Hollywood" party? Aw, didn't we know then? What are they going to do without each other, apart from make this "reality" show for MTV? Whitney leaves, though Lauren promises she'll help her pick out her outfit for her first day at PR. As Spencer packs up his car and drives off, Whitney takes her own cardboard carton and walks out of the TV offices for the last time.
Poll: What's going to happen to Whitney's old Teen Vogue gig?
