Wayne is woken up by Sam, it's time to go to Jim's funeral. Dale's truck has been parked outside of the house for 3 days and Wayne's wondering what's going on. They arrive at the cemetery and find that Jim had a lot of friends. Dahlia is still giving Wayne the silent treatment, Di Di wants to know what's going on and Dahlia tells her to ask Wayne - it's about Pete. Wayne tells her that Pete had an accident. Dahlia clarified her husband's answer and told her that Dale killed him.
Jim's funeral was made up of a bizarre group of folks - and an alpaca. Nina was asked to say a few words and she breaks down - she knows none of Jim's new friends and would have had him cremated if it were up to her. Dahlia takes her away from the proceedings to comfort her. Back at the traveler's camp, Rosaline quotes verse from a book that Eamon lent her. She tells Cael that she's not some dumb trailer trash. Cael agreed. Jim is finally laid to rest. Di Di asks Wayne if Pete was really dead and was upset at what the family has become. Hugh calls Wayne in a panic and tells him that all hell's breaking loose at the Bayou Falls construction site. Dahlia takes Nina to her "parole apartment" for comfort and coffee. She tells Nina that not even Wayne knows about the place - Nina wants to know if she has anything more than coffee. Back at the site, a worker got pinned under a huge metal tube. Hugh's not happy and wondered how the chain on the crane could break so suddenly. He thinks it's karma biting him in the ass. Wayne said it was an accident and "accidents happen" (he should know.) The contractor says it was no accident.
Nina and Dahlia were still rehashing what hapened at the funeral. Dahlia said she had every right to feel like crap and Nina said she really loved Jim. Dahlia knew she did. She got a call from Devereaux. Nina couldn't believe she had a parole officer and Dahlia welcomed Nina to her secret life. Back at Bayou Falls, Wilkinson the contractor quit.Hugh's worried that accusations of foul play will kill the project. Wayne tells Hugh he's got to get his head in the game for his campaign announcement. Wayne calls Aubrey and asks her to set up meetings between him and Berto the contractor and Felix the investor. Dahlia tells Nina her whole, sad tale of being an ex-con, drug addict and parole violator. She's "blown it" with Devereaux (I was wondering why she hadn't been at her job lately.) Nina said she's done with the lies. Dahlia apologized for keeping secrets from her only real friend. Nina then asked about the P.I. who came to her house asking about Pete. Dahlia said she didn't know what happened and Nina's B.S. detector went off immediately. Nina told Dahlia that she lied to herself for her whole marriage and tells her that she nends to face the truth in order to get a second chance. Dahlia said she didn't know the truth. That was it for poor Nina; she went off in search of a joint, saying "This day has been for s**t!"
Back in Eden Falls, Di Di's security guard beau, Ike comes over and she gets in a little smooching, some key grabbng and takes off in his cart. They're going to sneak into some more homes. Wayne can't get in touch with Dahlia. Wayne comes into Hugh's office and says that Berto was on his way over to sign the paperwork to become the new contractor on the Bayou Hills project and gave Hugh a new suit to wear for his press conference. He also got a very "Jackie O." suit for Gigi - as well as a respectable resume with studies in women's issues. Gigi has worked with women's issues, she taught a pole dancing class. Great. Wayne also tells her that she needs to use her given name, Georgia for the campaign. Di Di and Ike sneak into a fancy home and Di Di makes a beeline for the bar, where they both have a drink. Di Di is trying to get him to loosen up and slips off her undies. Naughty. Back at Panco, Wayne preps Hugh for the press conference. He tells him to make it short and sweet. After that he's got photo ops, meet and greets and debates - they're going to progress "one soundbite at a time." Wayne's really into this whole thing - it's almost like he's in it for more than just the money. While Hugh schmoozes the media, Wayne meets with Berto. In the middle of their chat, he got a phone call from Riley who says he's taken over the Bayou Hills project in Wilkinson's place. Uh-oh. Felix showed up and has arranged some "I'll scratch your back, you'll scratch mine" deal with Wayne. Felix still thinks Wayne is going to stab his partner, Hugh, in the back. Hugh's a natural at the whole politics thing. I smell victory.
Wayne shows up at Bayou Hills to talk to Riley, who he tries to send on his way. Riley's not budging - until Wayne's Russian back-ups arrive. So that's why he needed Felix for "back scratching." Back at school, Sam smiled at the girl who discovered his little drag "thing." Wayne signs Berto on to the project. Dahlia calls and leaves another message begging Cael to come home. Back at the traveler's camp, there's a fight and Eamon wants Cael to help him with it. Dahlia sets up a shrine to Cael in her sad apartment. The help Eamon wants from Cael is in helping him break up the fight. He says he wants no more petty feuds in the traveler camp. He said that the fact that he was standing next to Cael, a Malloy, meant a new future for the travelers. I can't believe Cael's falling for this. Di Di and Ike find nasty videos of the home's owners in fetish gear. Di Di says "damn buffers" and the guard doesn't understand. Di Di calls him a romantic and it looks like they're going to "do it" - but Ike hesitates - only to turn off the video. Then it's "game on" again. Wayne sneaks into Panco and catches Wayne and Gigi having office sex. He goes into Dale's office and picks the lock on his desk drawer. Inside he finds prison visitor passes and wonders who he's visited. Hugh comes in and thanks Wayne for what he's done and continues to do for him. Ooh, moral conflict. Dahila's still holding vigil for Cael, praying the rosary. She calls Devereaux and leaves him a message saying she neds to talk to him, honestly. Looking desperate, she grabs some money out of her purse and heads out the door. Before she's all the way out the door, she calls Di Di - who doesn't answer because she's "busy" with Ike. Dahlia, with nowhere else to turn heads next door with the cash. Uh-oh. Back at the "borrowed" house, we discover it's Ike's first time and Di Di says its hers too. Sometimes lies are a good thing. We intercut between Di Di and Dahlia, who's getting ready to inject heroin - not for the first time. She sees her reflection in the mirror and can't do it.
Sam has a new friend, she showed up at his house with something he dropped in the grass. Dahlia drives to Devereaux's house and before she can get to the door, sees his family and tries to run away, tripping and calling attention to herself in the process. Devereaux didn't know what she was doing there. He tried to put a move on her and she said she was just there to talk - and ran away. Nina found her pot - Jim's lover had it. Tney were actually in Wayne's house - they brought over some food from the wake. Wayne has no idea where anyone is. He asked Nina where she and Dahlia went after the funeral. She said they took a walk and had no idea where she was now. Wayne asked Nina to call her. She asked him if her really wanted Dahlia or Cherien and said he looked like he wasn't sure who he wanted. Di Di and Ike enjoyed some post-coital cuddling. She told him she as a member of the school's celibacy clib. Ike's radio went off and he answered it. He works for his Dad. Sam's new friend dressed him up in full drag and said he looked beautiful. Aahh, acceptance. Dahlia sat in the middle of the street, unsure of what to do. Cael told Eamon that his Dad was now a buffer. Eamon said he'd never be a buffer - and he was following his destiny. He was a "king among travelers." Cael doesn't completely buy it. Eamon tells Cael to call his Mom. He does, and Dahlia is relieved to hear from him. Wayne looks out his window and sees a severely beaten-up Dale charging the battery on his truck. Of course, Eamon's ulterior motives are finally out in the open - he calls the number back and gets Wayne. He tells him they should do business together. By the time Wayne spilts the Bayou Hills money with everyone he's supposed to, he's hardly going to have anything left. But Eamon has a guarantee that he's going to get his cut - he's got Wayne's son. And so, kids, with all of these loose ends, we bid adieu to Wayne and the gang until next season.
