Margaret wants to know what it's like to be a talentless fame whore, famous just for having her picture taken. The gays think all she needs to do is flash her Hello Kitty all over Hollywood, which is a good start. Margaret decides to hook up with a producer to record a single, which should be her first step towards famewhoredom.
Just open your legs and a hit single comes out.
Margaret explains starlets and the Hollywood fame game to her parents, who are supportive (if a bit confused about Margaret's wanting to play in the first place) when they hear her plan to record a single. It seems that music runs in Margaret's family, as Mrs. Cho was in her youth "the Kelly Clarkson of South Korea". So why shouldn't Margaret be the Clay Aiken?
That butt plug looks like a Cable Ace award.
Besides the single, Margaret decides she needs a sex video, and she enlists the glam squad to help her produce it. Selene to keep her parents occupied so they don't learn about it, and the gays to style her. As inspiration, she shows them the "2 girls, 1 cup" video, which is so horrendous to them that Charlie actually starts crying. Still, though, he gets it together to help Margaret shop for sex toys.
The video itself was pretty standard, though Margaret and Selene can't stop cracking jokes about the ice cream, the pudding ("Does this have carbs?"), and other food items enlisted for the video. The recording session, with producer Desmond Child and songwriter Andreas Carlson, produces Margaret's song "I Cho Am A Woman". Margaret is game and enthusiastic, though Desmond admits that they have a lot of work to do. If they can make Ashlee Simpson sound like Jessica Simpson, surely they can work their magic for Margaret.
The single is a hit with the family and the gays, and the video? Is a bit disturbing, if only because it gets Margaret thinking that if she can't screen it for her parents, with whom she's always been able to share everything, then who can she show it too without feeling like she's cheapening her career? She totally pussies out and doesn't release the video. The song? Available on iTunes, ready for you to download right this minute.
