Jumping ship this week was Kim Kardashian. Losing the final safety spot to partner Mark's father, Corky, and his partner Cloris Leachman, Kim departed gracefully, saying she's pleased to have made her father proud. Then she locked and popped in a mini-rendition of her Sir Mixalot routine, as only Kim could do.
Toni Braxton didn't have to wait until the bitter end again to find out she and her partner Alec were safe another week. Also surprised to hear their names called were Rocco DiSpirito and his partner Karina. Shocked to make it past elimination, Rocco sweetly thanked those who voted for believing in him and promised to give twice the performance next week. I'm gonna have to dust off the old phone and vote for Rocco come Monday--he's too stinkin' cute not to!
Also safe were the siblings Hough--Julianne and Derek--and their respective partners, Cody Linley and Brooke Burke. Following suit (ugh), Susan Lucci and Tony were the next couple in the clear. Good for Tony, I'm a fan, but Susan needs to up her game this week to gain some street cred in my book!
After reprising their "Matrix"-inspired paso doble for the judges' choice performance, Warren Sapp and partner Kym had to sweat it out a couple rounds before learning of their safety. But really, I don't think in DWTS history there's ever been a couple eliminated on the very same show where they performed the encore dance.
Lance Bass and Lacey were relieved to be safe next. After delivering another modern dance yesterday and getting some disappointing judges' comments, L&L were shakin' in their boots at the prospect of elimination. But shoot, this is a N*Sync-er we're talking about. He's good for a minimum of five more weeks.
Joining L&L were Misty Mae-Treanor and her partner Maks, leaving Corky and Mark Ballas in a father and son duel. Age defeated beauty in this round as Corky and Cloris were announced safe and Mark and Kim learned of their departure.
Rounding out "The Results" show was a performance by Jessica Simpson, hocking her new single "Come on Over." She sounded good (outside of the weird vocal decorations on parts of "Angels." Where, oh where, is Robbie Williams when you need him?!). She looked cute, too, though a tad fuller. Let's start the Internet rumor here, folks. Simpson-Romo baby in training?!

How do I get a body like Julianne Hough of Dancing With the Stars? What kind of work-outs should I do?
