Entourage: Gotta Look Up to Get Down (Episode #61)

With the death of Alan, things are really looking up for Vince.  Sounds terrible, I know.  Leave it to Ari to mix business with a funeral.

Meanwhile, Vince got a million dollar modeling deal, much to the excitement of Drama, Turtle and Eric who are convinced they will find one to sleep with.  Freddy, the man behind Vince's new deal has cast Natasha, a stunning model, as Vince's co-star.  Turns out, Vince knows her from a long flight they shared.  No, the mile high club did not gain two members, but Vince really fell for her after the 11 hour flight.

Freddy immediately can sense the tension between his two stars, and unluckily for Vince, Freddy has already claimed Natasha.  Did Vince lose a million quicker than he got it? Turns out, Freddy replaces Natasha with another model (not as hot) and Vince is pissed.  Pissed enough to give up $1 million for one day of work.  Idiot.

While Vince goes on the hunt for Natasha, Ari is busy telling Alan that even though he is dead, he still doesn't like him.  Nothing like saying a final good-bye.  John, President of the Studio, has no idea what he is in for.  Ari tells him Alan had promised Vince the role in Smoke Jumpers and they should make good on that promise.  In return, John offers Ari Alan's job.  This will NOT turn out good for Vince in the long run.  Short term, yes.  Long term, no chance in hell.

While Ari is anticipating a rise to the penthouse, Vince is knee deep in searching for Natasha.   Of coarse, the boys tag along in search of their own hot model.  E finds one in Reena, who thinks good things come in small packages.  Something's fishy...

Everyone's favorite Hills cast member Whitney makes a cameo.  I didn't know you could make cameos when you're barely a reality star? I won't knock her that much, she is the only sane one on that show.  Anyway, with boys off to model dreamland, Ari asks his wife if she would like to f*** a studio head.  With much excitement I may add.  Looks like the job is as good as his.  Dana Gordon is quick to hear the news, and begs Ari to be his number two.  Wife, not to happy.

Vince is now off to The W, where the models are staying.  He is beginning to believe she quit the shoot because of him.  Little does he know... Anyhow, life at the agency is proving to be more than Ari wants to handle.  He obviously has already checked out.  Lloyd is extremely suspicious, especially when John sends Ari a plastic plane and very pricey watch.  He has asked Ari and his wife to join him in Switzerland, on his jet.

Meanwhile the boys are striking out left and right, except for E who is heading up stairs with Reena.  While E gets a little too excited, Vince learns why Natasha left the shoot.  And that Freddy is behind it.  Vince leaves his number with Natasha's friend, who tries to hit on him.  After getting rejected, she says she was just testing him.

Poor E gets worked over by a model/wanna-be actress.  After showing her awful reel, E runs, not walks out of the hotel.  I mean, really, she was terrible!  While the boys learn they aren't quite hot enough for models, Ari is being stressed out by Jeffery Tambor and reality show writers who want to do features.  All of which seem to be a joke to Ari.  Saying he has to go to the restroom, Ari calls his wife and tells her to pack, their taking off for Geneva in a couple hours.  Uh oh...Ari the studio head.  Interesting.

In a last ditch effort, Vince goes to Freddy's house. After calling him out, badly, Vince tells Freddy she doesn't want him, get over it.  In a strange twist of events, Freddy hits on Vince.  Prompting Vince to quit the shoot.  Good thing too, Natasha calls inviting Vince and the boys to take a jet with her and some model friends to Hawaii.  At the airport, the boys see Ari.  Looks like Ari is going to have to tell someone what the hell is going on.

Ari calls over Vince and tells him whats going on.  Ari also tells Vince he is in the position to get Vince whatever job he wants for the rest of his life.  Vince says he wants them to finish what they have started together, but he's gotta do what he's gotta do.  In what was like a scene out of a Meg Ryan movie, Ari and Vince go to their seperate planes and take off.
