ScrubsBill Lawrence, the creator of Scrubs , says he's not sure if the show will return next season or not, reports TV.com . The show is airing its eighth season on ABC as opposed to NBC and premieres tonight. Lawrence says if the show does return next season, it will be a business decision. "ABC is promoting the s--t out of Scrubs," Lawrence said. "It's very weird. It's the first time I've seen commercials for the show in seven years…The reality is, Scrubs is incredibly reasonably priced. And without Zach's salary and my salary, it's probably cheaper to make then some new shows. And it's sold into syndication, so every episode that gets produced, ABC makes $1 million or so on the back end. I don't think it'll be a creative decision."
Eric Stoltz will guest-star as an injured Death Row inmate on a three-episode arc of Grey's Anatomy this season, according to E!. Stoltz, who has directed two episodes of the drama, will play a serial killer who gets stabbed in the back in the prison yard and comes between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey) when he's brought to Seattle Grace for treatment.
