Tim Kring, the producer of Heroes , says that the next story arc will be accessible to new viewers and please disgruntled fans of the series. There is almost nothing that the audience needs to know from the previous volume in order to follow the storyline." Angela Bromstad, NBC's president of primetime entertainment, notes that she spoke with Kring about whether the series had gotten too complicated. "They may have taken on too much in terms of characters and multiple storylines," she said. Fugitives will guest-star Damages actor Zeljko Ivanek as a government operative hired by Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) to hunt the rest of the cast down and imprison them.
