Dancing with the Stars: Season Four, The Results

America, why are you sending the pretty girls home first? After being in the bottom two with Paulina Porizkova last week, game show host and former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey was eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars" this week.

With an initial response of “aww, game over," Shandi called her time on the show amazing and said she hopes she didn't disappoint partner Brian Fortuna. Also in jeopardy of elimination was Leeza Gibbons, despite her Tango being a top scorer with the judges.

Still in the running for the ridiculously shiny mirror ball trophy are Joey and Kym, Apolo and Julianne, Billy Ray and Karina, Laila and Maks, Ian and Cheryl, John and Edyta, Heather and Jon as well as Clyde and Elena. Each will perform either the Paso Doble or the Waltz on Monday's show.

Dancing with the Stars: Season Four, Week Three

Leeza over Laila? “Star Wars" tied with Steve Sanders?

Mediocre performances received high marks and the usual favorites took some heat as the remaining ten couples Tangoed and Jived their way through week three of “Dancing with the Stars."

Starting off the not-so-impressive night were Shandi and Brian. After finding herself in the bottom two last week, I was hoping Shandi would really lay it on the table this time around, but, alas, Barbie was back—all smiles from the head up and nothing going on below. Her movements aren't strong enough and she lacks a stage presence that some of the other dancers have already established. Nevertheless, Shandi still managed to land a score of 21, leaving her tied with Laila and Billy Ray at the end of the night.

Dice Undisputed Finale - Part 2

Phew...30 minutes to go. This one opens with him cussing out some member of the audience. How did this happen? Let's go back a week, shall we? Dice is getting a big break – he's doing a big show with Artie Lange (from Stern's show) in Boston which will be broadcast live on Sirius. Dice and the gang meet at a deli (eating again?) to plan for the big show (oh my God, Wheels is actually doing his road manager thing for once). Max is going to Boston to see the uncensored show, but Dice deems Dillon too young. Later on, Dice takes Dillon and Eleanor to the batting cages. Dice says if Dillon doesn't succeed at music, he could get on a “baseball group" (he can't possibly be this dumb.) Eleanor wants to talk about travel plans to Philly for her Mom's birthday. He blows her off and she gets upset. Dice accused her of not understanding the “big picture". She feels unappreciated and says she can't do it anymore. Dice agrees she's right and she packs her bags and moves out.

Dice Undisputed Finale - Part 1

Can I say “Thank God" now? I doubt anyone besides me has stuck through this painful experiment imposed on us by VH-1, but if you have and actually care how this season turns out...this one's for you.

The first part of tonight's extravaganza takes our hero to the Howard Stern show. Dice was a regular on his show back in the day and apparently there's some bad blood between them (they haven't seen each other in 10 years.) Oh, and he's writing a book, “The Filthy Truth". Dice sets off with the still-incompetent Todd to NYC for the show. And, per usual, there are the usual problems at the airport, they have to shlep their bags through the massive parking lot.

Dancing with the Stars: Season Four, The Results

Poor Paulina! She's the first celebrity to be eliminated from season four of “Dancing with the Stars."

Model Paulina and her partner, first-season champ Alec Mazo, were sent home after America's votes were combined with the judges' scores from both Monday performances. Despite outscoring Billy Ray and Clyde on the judges' scorecard, Paulina said, “I had a feeling my family wasn't big enough for my fanbase." Hint: If you have a famous husband, play your cards right! Paulina never mentioned she was married to The Cars' lead singer Ric Ocasek, and surely that could've squeezed a couple more votes out of America.

Dancing with the Stars: Season Four, Episode Two

Week two of “Dancing with the Stars" has the girls shaking it to the Mambo and the boys attempting their best Quickstep. Surprisingly this season, the celebrities aren't half bad and there doesn't seem to be a clear forerunner for elimination. Or in the words of Ian Ziering, there aren't any “cheeseballs."

Apolo and his "The Bachelor" Sadi look-alike partner Julianne start off the night with the Quickstep. At only eighteen, Julianne is one strict teacher, but her efforts are paying off—Apolo has already positioned himself as one the best dancers this season. He brings a coolness quotient to the floor, which the others have yet to pull off. With a score of 26, Apolo and Julianne end the evening in the number two slot.

Dice on Wax

Dice wants to record an album, to prove to the world that he's still relevant – I mean funny. First of all, Dice tells off a telemarketer. Not funny. Dice is heading to Houston to record his set, which will become his album (it'll actually be a CD, kids) Dice meets up with a record producer. The producer tells Dice that no one really thinks he retired and that he's going to have to work hard to convince the public that he's still funny. He says recording a comedy album now is different than doing it back in the day. He needs to play off his rock n' roll image and he knows someone who would be a perfect match for him. Dice asks the producer why he wants to make the album. The producer replies by telling him he stands to make a nice chunk of change. Dice admires his honesty.

The Surreal Life Finale - "Ice Ice Storm"

I can't believe it's the season finale already. Wish they'd bring C.C. back for this, but alas, it's Rob, Ron, Pepa and Traci fighting to the finish for the dough. Traci slept in Verne's bed in memory of her fallen teammate. Pepa asked Ron to conspire with her against the other members of the team. All of the gang get GPS systems, delivered by Robin, along with some pretty blatant plugging. Robin's ad copy was an introduction to this week's challenge - the goal is for the cast to make their own commercials (for Golden Palace.com, of course. They have to direct, produce and star in their ad. They all have 15 minutes in the studio to create a 30 second spot, and a focus group will judge which is the best. Ron and Rob were confident, Traci and Pepa not so much.

Behind the Scenes at "Last Comic Standing" Auditions

Yep, there's going to be a new season of "Last Comic Standing." NBC is doing a bit of retooling for the fifth season, including replacing the incredibly life-like Anthony Clark with actor/comedian Bill Bellamy (from one of my husband's favorite flicks, "Buying the Cow") and auditioning comics from outside the US and A (auditions were held in Syndey, London and Montreal.) I'm hoping the fresh blood will make for a fun summer series.

Last season, I brought you the story of Canada Anne, who auditioned for, but didn't make the cut. She has again auditioned, and her story (including her experience with gratingly annoying "comic" (and LCS alum) Ant) is after the jump. (Spoiler alert!)
