24

24: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (704)

Previously on 24: A few of our old friends from CTU went underground and became the A-Team. Jack helped Tony escape from FBI custody.

FBI. Janis says security saw Jack and Tony get into a van and head West. Sean says the hacker is jamming the traffic cameras so he can't spot them. Renee apologizes to Agent Ass for letting Jack play her; she thinks that Tony offered him a way out of a federal indictment and years in prison. She promises to make things right as Agent Ass goes to take a phone call from the White House. Renee head over to Janis' desk and asks about the status of the shooter. I guess Tanner survived his stint as Jack's human shield. Janis says that he hasn't regained consciousness, but they have ID'd him. She wants to know the second he's awake.

24: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

White House. Lurch informs the President that Tony is being transported to the FBI field office for interrogation. She doesn't understand why Tony doesn't have the CIP device, since he was orchestrating the attacks. Steven speaks up and informs everyone that Tony is working for General Candyman's regime, as they just got a phone call from Dubaku. He plays a tape of the message Dubaku left, but due to a mix of audio quality and Dubaku's accent, it's hard to make out exactly what he's saying. Long story short, he wants them to pull the US troops out of Sangala in 24 hours and they need to see them starting to move out in three hours. They discuss several options and Taylor has them issue alerts to first responders to be ready for another attack. She also has them tell the FBI to get their asses in gear and get whatever they can out of Tony.

24: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (702)

Previously on 24: Jack was supoenaed by the Senate, then the FBI, where he teamed up with foxy redhead agent Renee. Tony came back from the dead and is now working for a home-grown terrorist cell that just took navigational control of a commercial aircraft. Jack and Renee tracked down a lead only to have him killed by Tony's sniper. A bunch of other stuff happened too. Read the recap.

24: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM (701)

Oh, Jack. How I have missed you, my beloved. The past TV season has been a lonely and desolate place without your knife-to-the-eyeball threats and you velvety growls of "Who are you working for?" I waited for you for a year and a half. It was hard, and sure, I had a few flings, but among my harem of TV boyfriends, you are my one and only TV husband. The boys don't like that you're back - they get so jealous, bless them - but they can deal. None of them will ever come close to what we have together.

TV News Update: '24' Movie Had Plenty Of Viewers

2424E! reports that the ratings for Sunday's 24: Redemption television movie were in the area of 12.1 million viewers, which is better the franchise's ratings when it ended their disappointing sixth season 18 months ago. Critics also seemed to respond in the positive to the newest 24 installment since May of 2007, referring to it as a "kinder, gentler" 24 .

24 - "Day 6: 5:00AM – 6:00AM"

As I continue to attempt to live blog the two-hour finale of 24, I realize that I don't type nearly fast enough for it to be truly live blogging, but through the magic of tivo, I am able to catch up quite a bit at times and pace myself through the hour that you would never know the difference. Hell, the first part was posted at what, 9:05PM PST? Not too shabby. I hope something stuns me in this finale (I doubt it) and that there is nothing else that is completely a waste of time (Milo's vanishing brother). Otherwise, I really am going to question if the writers were replaced by the staff of Smallville.

24 - "Day 6: 4:00AM – 5:00AM"

Alright, I'll be blunt. I'm going to attempt to recap this episode as I go through it the first time, because two hours of 24 is a lot to handle. I'm sure that there are going to be more twists than the mind can comprehend, all culminating in the final moments that will have made this season all worthwhile. Or not. There's no way that with my hectic schedule that I can watch two full hours of the show and then go back through it like I normally do and recap on a second time through. I've got things to do. And, you know, Heroes is on.
