Gossip Girl: Gone With The Will (Episode 133)

Good 'ole Uncle Jack is back this episode causing trouble. He and Blair, and even Nate (it's about time Chace decided to return to the show!!) meet up to give Chuck support before his dad's will is read. Chuck and Jack go in and hear the will be read. First thing is that Uncle Jack is Chuck's guardian now which we pretty much already knew. Second thing is that Bart left Chuck a note that tells him how much he's proud of him and how his passing is Chuck's final transformation from boy to man. He's giving Chuck 51% of shares/the controlling stake in Bass Industries. Chuck is too stubborn though and says he wants nothing to do with it and runs off to sulk. Poor Chuck. NOT.

Gossip Girl: In The Realm of the Basses (Episode 132)

The vacation is over peeps and the one and only Gossip Girl has some juicy stories to tell that you totally won't want to miss.

Over holiday break, Serena went to Buenos Aires with artsy Aaron and tango'd her little ass off. She dumped Aaron a mere three hours into her and Aaron's South America-bound 15 hour flight. Anyone else ever broken up with someone 30,000 feet up? Or been broken up with? I'd love to hear the story. Little Jenny is getting her butt back in school after a misguided trek into the high fashion world. Blair is working to climb the social ladder with the Colony Club, a hoity-toity women's social club. Ultimately Blair's just trying to forget about Chuck who has been living high on everything but life in who knows what country.

Gossip Girl: O Brother, Where Bart Thou? (Episode 131)

As last week's preview hinted, this week is the funeral of the one and only Bart Bass(hole). He died at the end of last week's episode in a tragic car accident.

We begin with Serena and Eric sitting down for breakfast with their grandmother, CeCe, and Lily joins the breakfast later. Lily is obviously and understandably a bit upset and it doesn't help that CeCe doesn't hardly seem phased by Bart's death. Lily leaves to go to the park. It turns out she's meeting Rufus there. She reveals to him that Bart left her a voicemail before he was killed but she hasn't had the courage to listen to it yet. Rufus offers to be there with her when she listens, but she says she'll wait to do it by herself. He tells her that he'll be waiting for her, as he always has been. Meanwhile, Blair is breakfasting with Cyrus and Eleanor. Blair wants to comfort Chuck but can't get ahold of him. Dan stops by to see Serena, who is getting ready for the funeral. She's wearing an classy black dress. Just after Dan gets there to see how she's doing, Aaron stops by as well. This is a bit of an awkward moment but fortunately only does last a moment.

Gossip Girl: It's A Wonderful Lie (Episode 130)

The annual Charity Snowflake Ball is this week and it's the center of a dramatastic episode that ends with someone dying!

Blair is busy selecting a date for the Ball and having a difficult time. She has an entire book to look through of potential suitors. B has such a hard life. Meanwhile, Dan and Serena are playing their usual cat and mouse game. At first it seems as though both may go alone and meet up at the dance but then Dan tags along with Serena to go see Aaron at the gallery. To no surprise Serena asks Aaron to the Ball and he accepts, but then a real screwball comes into the equation and her name is Lexi. She is Aaron's ex and for whatever unbelieveable reason she's in NYC. After a few awkward moments between everyone Dan gets signed up to give Lexi a tour of the city, which eventually ends up turning into a foursome event. You know S is thrilled about this one.

Gossip Girl: The Magnificent Archibalds (Episode 129)

This episode is Thanksgiving and everyone will be celebrating with a whole lotta drama. Some families will be coming together, while others will be ripped apart.

Cyrus has officially moved into the Waldorf home and Blair is none to happy about it. Everything he says or does seems to annoy her to the core. And, it doesn't help that she's pissed off that her dad isn't coming home to spend Thanksgiving with the family. Serena is too concerned about her own life and what's going on with Aaron to give much time to Blair's current situation. Serena tries to make herself believe that she's fine with Aaron dating other girls. Just because he's not exclusive doesn't mean she has to date others. Blair tries her hardest to snap her back to the real Serena but to no avail. Dan sees Serena and Blair and asks if either has seen Jenny, she's been MIA.

Gossip Girl: Bonfire of the Vanity (Episode 128)

Last week ended with Jenny running away after her guerilla-style fashion show. She has been staying with new pal, Agnes, since then. Rufus just met with Agnes' mother and he tells Dan that he's ok with it. We know better. Dan, meanwhile, is making good on his talk with Rufus from last week that he's going to try things Jenny's way, which is being ruthless and doing whatever it takes to get to the top. He tells Rufus he's considering having his story on the Bass family published. The story must be pretty good because Dan just got word back that he'll be getting a reference letter for Yale. Things seem to be looking up for Dan already.

Gossip Girl: There Might Be Blood (Episode 127)

Since Gossip Girl began little Jenny has been building herself up and lately things really seemed to be taking off, but this week everything come crashing down. The biggest surprise of all may just be who does, or doesn't, stand by her side.

We begin with J and Agnes - from last week - working away at making some dresses. Apparently the two have baked up some crazy idea to do a guerilla-style takeover of a gala where Lily Van Der Woodsen & Co. are being honored. J thinks that by getting her designs in front of the wealthy people at the gala that she'll get someone to back her as a designer. You know, because life is easy like that.

Not to be outdone Blair and Serena are getting their own drama going this episode. They are meeting with the the Dean of Yale's sister because she is interested in Serena and her sudden fame. When are they going to have the paparazzi start following Serena around? That would be interesting. Anyway, Blair tags along to the meeting but the lady completely ignores her. In order to get Blair noticed Serena volunteers Blair to take the lady's teenage daughter. Emma, to the movies. Blair is thrilled, but goes along with it knowing this might be her only in to get into Yale.

Dan may also be losing his way into Yale because no one is impressed with his writing. He and Nate are still bromancing this week, though you know it's bound to end sooner rather than later. They happen to walk into the loft at the same time J+A are getting ready to leave with a rack of dresses in tow. J looks like she's going to a circus show. I guess I'm not a "hipster" so I don't understand the style but she's wearing a tiny hat that looks like it should be on a monkey's head. Dan doesn't know what she's upto but knows it must not be good. She tells him and begs that he and Nate not tell anyone, especially Rufus. Dan doesn't listen and goes to the Gallery to ask Vanessa for advice on what he should do. Nate stuck back at the loft with Jenny. Dan doesn't know whether to intervene because he thinks she's making some horrible life decisions. As they're discussing it Rufus comes in and overhears a little and asks what they're talking about. Before you know the three are on their way to the loft to sort things out with J. Just as they're about there they see J and Nate jump in some van and take off. They run after but there's no use, they can't catch them in time.

Emma tells Blair she doesn't want to go to the movies, she has another plan in mind. She wants to hit some clubs and party. Blair doesn't want to though fearing that if the Dean finds out then Blair will have no hope of ever getting into Yale. Blair takes Emma to Serena's to get her advice. Serena comes up with an idea for Blair to take Emma to some boring event but tell her it's going to be the hottest party in Manhattan, and she can even wear one of Serena's dresses. Emma goes for the idea and things seem on track, that is until Chuck shows up. As Serena and Blair are off in another room Chuck meets Emma and starts to corrupt her, more so than she already was. Emma is bound and determined to lose her virginity and Chuck doesn't seem to mind taking it. Emma leaves with Chuck, eventually Blair and Serena realize this and freak out.

Gossip Girl: "Pret-a-Poor-J" (Episode 126)

This week Blair tortures Chuck but ultimately it's her that wants to give in to temptation, Serena falls for Dan's new friend, J.Hump (as she will now be known) pulls a Cory Kennedy (you better know who she is!) and gets caught by Nate dancing around in her underwear at a strangers loft. Looks like good 'ole J.Hump is going to the dark side! And, believe it or not, this is just the beginning.

Gossip Girl: Chuck in Real Life (Episode 125)

Last week was all about Yale, but this week we're back to the Upper East Side and for the most part things are back to normal.

We begin with breakfast at the Van Der Woodsen household, well I guess it would be the Bass household now. Bart and Lily announce to the kids that they are setting new rules. These new rules include dinner together and an early curfew. Looks like those crazy party nights are over, or are they? Serena doesn't take the news so well, she's pissed that everytime her mom finds a new man his rules seem to be the holy grail. Eric isn't so upset, probably because he was too young to truly remember some of Lily's loves, he thinks the new rules may be just what the family needs to bring them together. By the way, Eric has finally gotten rid of those ridiculous looking highlights. I think I speak on behalf of all Gossip Girl fans when I say it's about time! As for Chuck, as you may expect, he's not very concerned because ultimately he's above the rules, at least in Bart's eyes. Chuck knows Serena is the real reason for all the new rules. Bart just doesn't want her out partying and getting snapped by the paparazzi because it would look back for him. It doesn't take long for Serena to figure this out though and she is sure to get back at Bart by dressing in a short, sexy dress and then leaving. As she's getting in the elevator and he's watching her speechless, she mentions that she may have forgotten to put on underwear. How Britney of her!
