Wentworth Miller in Prison BreakFox has pulled the plug of Prison Break , and stated that the current season (its fourth) will be its last. The drama, the story of two brothers who get mixed up in multiple, uh...prison breaks and derring-do with law enforcement and criminals alike, will kick off its last few episodes on April 17, according to EW .

Happy holidays, Prison Breakers! Tonight's 'The Sunshine State' is the last of 2008, and man, all I can really think about as I begin this recap is how many fingers I'd be willing to cut off to be in Florida right now. Brrrrrrr! Cold enough for ya out there? Colder than a mother-in-law's love. More Prison Break after the jump...

Oh boy! A dream sequence! Some of my favorite TV silliness comes in the form of a good (or bad) dream sequence, and this week, Prison Break joined the fun with 'Going Under'. Bobby Ewing never showed up, but hey - sweeps month is coming! More Prison Break after the jump...
MICHAEL - Our boy spent the majority of the episode in a dream sequence prison cell with Charles Westmoreland/DB Cooper yakking it up about old times, but first, let's take a look at how he got there. When last we left him, he was being used as a bargaining chip by The General to get Lincoln back on Scylla's trail. Linc has no option but to agree, so Michael's surgery begins. Sarah's a little concerned about how she's never seen this type of surgery before anywhere, but there's little she can do from behind that thick glass wall as the surgeons start poking and prodding into Michael's brain. After prattling on about who knows what for most of the episode, Charles makes Michael realize that much like Dorothy, he's had the answer to what he's been looking for all along. Michael scrawls the word 'BARGAIN' on a blank piece of paper hung on the wall of the dream sequence cell. He's not quite sure what it means inside of his waking dream, but upon being resuscitated after nearly dying, he realizes that the letters in the word itself are actually a series of chemical elements. When combined, those elements form to create a top-secret solar energy source, which is actually what has been hidden inside Scylla this whole time.

Because "Just Business" wasn't nearly as horrendous as last week's episode, I think I've figured out the secret of Prison Break's on-again, off-again success. When in doubt, steal handily from classic 1980s television shows. Need to kickstart your fourth season? Make the guys into this generation's A-Team! Feeling the pinch of a mid-season slump while better shows are being cancelled willy-nilly all around you? Feel free to MacGyver your way out of it with a homemade rocket launcher! I can't wait until Michael has to jump over a real shark as part of his recovery process, or Johnathan Winters shows up as the long-lost, fully-grown infant son of Sarah Tancredi. More Prison Break after the jump...

Okay, so remember back at the beginning of this season of 'Prison Break', I wouldn't shut up about how happy I was to see the show getting back to basics? Well, based upon this week's 'Deal Or No Deal', I'm thinking I might have to start eating my words. I've watched the thing twice now, and I'm STILL not sure what exactly the hell was going on. Let's talk it out, maybe that will help. More Prison Break after the jump...

We're right about at the halfway point of this season of Prison Break, and you know what that means - ridiculousness. No, I mean even more of it than usual. There were plenty of head-scratching moments in 'Selfless', but that doesn't mean it wasn't as much fun as ever. More Prison Break after the jump...
MICHAEL AND CREW - We pick right back up with Michael in the Scylla vault, and here comes The General and crew to nab him before he can make off with it. I have no idea why Michael chose to just stand there and look at Scylla instead of, gosh, I don't know, GRABBING the damn thing and making his way back through the wall, but that's not important right now. The General's henchmen rush into the room with guns drawn, but Michael's crew are one step ahead. Linc, Sucre, and Mahone are also waiting in the room with THEIR guns drawn, so we get a little Mexican standoff for a bit until the General decides to stand down. Michael demands the sixth card be given to him by The General, and when he gets it, he inserts it into the one visible card port on Scylla itself. With that, five more ports in it open, so in go the remaining cards. Their combined info is downloaded onto Michael's laptop, the actual Scylla drive is put into a backpack, and with that, mission accomplished, right? Right. Er, wrong. Maybe. Depends on whether or not the show gets cancelled or not.

Prison Break got all artsy and stuff on us this week, and hot damn, was it ever cool. I kinda like the idea of these guys shutting up for a while and just delivering some hot man-on-man heist action, don't you? At least it gave the plot a break from getting any more convoluted. Oh, and for chrissakes, Michael - GO TO THE DAMN HOSPITAL! More Prison Break after the jump...
MICHAEL AND CREW - The team continues with its seemingly impossible mission of breaking into the vault to steal Scylla as Sucre and Mahone drill a hole in the wall of its subterranean vault to get a peek at it. With the aid of a fiber-optic camera on a stick, they record the room it's being stored in for a while and come to the conclusion that, well, they're pretty much screwed. The room is locked up tight as can be, so it's gonna take a minor miracle to get in there and out again with their target in tow. Being that this is Prison Break, a minor miracle is exactly what we got. Read on.

Prison Break is back up in yo' bidness after last week's onslaught of election coverage, and being that we actually got to see the true fate of our old friend Brad Bellick, I guess I have to shelve my 'Brad Is ALIVE!' conspiracy theories. For now, anyway. When the series kicks off it's all-zombie season in a few years to coincide with that of Lost's, well, that's when the fun will really begin. I can't wait to see the PB crew break in and/or out of something while simultaneously trying to avoid eating one another's brains. Should be a hoot, but I have to ask - isn't T-Bag WAY ahead of the curve on that front? In any case, more Prison Break after the jump...

First of all, I apologize for getting this 'Prison Break' recap up so late, but I've been waiting in line to vote all day. Just so you know, I wrote in 'William Fichtner' for President. What about you? Did you vote today? I hope so. More Prison Break after the jump...
MICHAEL AND CREW - Now that the team's got Wyatt as a hostage (thanks to the bitch-ass actions of the now-dead Roland), they decide to intimidate him into calling the General and telling him that he's killed everyone he's been after all this time, thereby getting a little bit of the heat off their backs. Wyatt's not playing, though, so after failing miserably at trying to strike a deal with Sarah, Mahone practically begs everyone to let him do it his way. No dice, Alex, they all say, but Don Self assures that he'll get his turn at Wyatt when the time is right. See, Don lost a kid in the past, too, so he knows what all that must feel like. Settle down there, Alex. All in good time.
