Beauty and the Geek: More than Just a Beauty And a Geek (Episode #48)

The finale is here! Tommy and Amanda, Matt and Leticia, and Chris and Cara are the final three teams all fighting to win the $250,000.  This season's finale is much more eventful than last season's, due to the elimination of one team within the first 10 minutes.

The three teams learn they will have a pop quiz to figure out who knows their partner the best.  The first two teams to answer three questions correctly are on to the final challenge.

Beauty and The Geek: The Fixer Uppers (Episode #47)

With only four teams left, this week's challenges will be more important than ever.  The final three teams make it to the season finale next week, and are still in the running to win the money.  Only, this week's challenges are far from easy.  The geeks have to learn about what woman want, where the beauties will learn that plumbing is about more then just crack.

The show opens with the remaining teams giving Jason a, "Viking send-off" by setting a paper raft on fire and floating it over the pool.  Joe took things a little to seriously for my taste.  Then again, Joe takes everything too seriously.  Maybe this week he will finally be put out of his misery and be sent home.  Well, one can hope.

Beauty and the Geek: Snowbound (Episode #46)

The teams get a break from the norm this week when they learn they are off to Big Bear for some fun in the snow.  While most are excited, some are slightly nervous to hit the slopes.

After some snowball fights and flirting (mostly among Tommy and Tara) the teams learn their mission: to build a sled from scratch, as a team, take it to the top of a large, snowy hill, and make it down the hill without falling off the sled.  The key is, the beauties are doing all the building while the geeks are pretty much gofers.

Beauty and The Geek: Flame Broiled Chick (Episode #44)

This week's episode opens with the cast fearing the mansion is haunted, Tara in particular.  To increase the tension, Tommy decides to play Dracula and scare the crap out of Tara.  Randi and a couple other beauties are in on the joke, and go into the room where Tara is sleeping.  Joe, trying to play hero, throws them all out of the room which really pisses off Randi.  The practical joke turned into the greatest battle of Beauty and the Geek since, well, ever.

Beauty and The Geek: From Geek to Chic (Episode #43)

Finally! It's make-over week! Only the best episode of the whole season.  What could possibly make it better? Take the geeks and their new hot looks, and put them on the Young and the Restless with their hot beauty partners.  Now that's entertainment.

Not all the geeks were excited about their new look.  Cowboy Joe in particular, who was bitching and complaining all the way to the hairdresser. And then home...and then for the rest of the day. His partner Tara was less then thrilled with her decision to pick him as a partner, after realizing that he feels he has nothing to learn.

Beauty and The Geek: LoveLorn Science (Episode #42)

After last week's cliffhanger, 'Daisy Duke's Hostess' Tara was left to decide between cowboy Joe and Mama's boy Jonathan.  As tears stream down her face, the overly dramatic elimination ended Jonathan's time in the house.  Which is sad, it's geeks like him that could really use an opportunity like this.  Well, then again, Joe is no winner himself...

Following the drama, Mike tells the newly appointed teams their first challenge: the beauties are to make a science project for the first ever Beauty and the Geek Science Fair, and the geeks are going on the radio with Dr. Drew to answer caller's sex questions.  This should be interesting.

Beauty and the Geek: It's Game Time (Episode #41)

Game on! It's a beauty vs. geek football game! Well, Flag football, come on, we can't have geeks tackling each other now can we? Unfortunately, Tom may not be in the team spirit after losing his crush, Amber, last week. In a "shocking" twist, one beauty is to switch places with one geek, therefore putting a beauty on the geek's team, and a geek on the beauties. The lucky swappers? Playboy model Jillian and M.I.T Oceanographer, Chris. Who, I must say, looked damn hot in that bright pink tee-shirt. In another "shocking" twist, the teams are told that should they lose the football game, their new member will be immediately sent home.

Beauty and the Geek: Raps, Rhymes, and Geeks (Episode #40)

I don't know what to say.  I'm really at a loss for words.  As we have learned, this season's twist is Beauties vs. Geeks, which, well, sucks.  And as if things couldn't get worse, this season's beauties are in a world all their own.  Let's discuss runway model Amber.  She may think she is the second coming of Iman, however, I beg to differ.  She is pretty, yes, but her personality seriously diminishes her outward appearance making her look more like a witch than a beauty.  Later on, we will see why.

Beauty and the Geek: And the Winner is...(Episode #38)

Well, I wish I could say the finale was exciting. However, it was more like 50 minutes of recapping the season, (which I have already done for you all) and the final 10 were dragged out to announce the winner.

The glorified reunion show brought back all of this season's teams, and the geeks are looking pretty good!  Most shocking transformation goes to tall Josh (as opposed to small Josh...) as he has lost tons of weight and even has a girlfriend! She was even in the audience rooting him on.  I wish I could say she was a beauty, but to put it nicely, she was not.  On top of losing the weight, he has shaved his entire body to be free of hair.  If you remember, he had an abnormal amount of body hair upon arriving to the show.  Rebecca had promised him if he shaved his back, she would give him a massage.  Conveniently, there was a massage table waiting back stage and he will probably never have that hot of a girl touch him again.

Beauty and the Geek: Meet the Parents (Episode #37)

Part one of the season finale brings us to the contestant's home towns where we get a glimpse into who they were before Beauty and the Geek. However, it wouldn't be the show we have all grown to love without a last minute twist.

The evening of elimination shows us Sam and Nicole, and Jasmine and Dave standing in the elimination room when Mike tells them the experiment has evolved, yet again.  After explaining that no one expected Dave and Jasmine in the final two, and no one expected Sam and Nicole...well, at all, we shoot to three days earlier.
