After losing two of its members earlier in the season, Team Bruno made the ultimate comeback by being crowned the champions of Dance War. It was a brief but intense road for the team; eight weeks of rehearsals, two loses and one very big win that left Kelsey, Lacey, Philip and Zack walking away tonight with a recording contract from Hollywood Records and a new single, “Falling In Love,” under their belts.

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Episode 106)
February 11, 2008With only two shows remaining, the score reads Bruno 1, Carrie Ann 2. That’s right, Team Bruno finally tucked a win under their belt and will enter next week last vote-off with four members: Zack, Philip, Kelsey and Lacey, while Team Carrie Ann will forge ahead minus Alyssa. Votes cast tonight will determine the final team rosters before one team walks away with a recording contract from Hollywood Records in the season finale.
To celebrate last week’s winning streak, Carrie Ann treated her team to a spa day. The group indulged in massages, facials, manis and pedis, giving each of them a glimpse into the lifestyle of those whose songs they sing each week on Dance War. Everyone basked in the extra care and attention, especially Bradley who was dubbed the tream diva (“I’m not a diva, I just like things,” he refuted). Pampered and rejuvenated, all six original members of TCA were ready to rehearse their Latin Week numbers.

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Episode 105)
February 5, 2008Last week Charity was the first to be eliminated from the competition. With Team Bruno down one member and Team Carrie Ann riding high on their win, all eyes were on the prize—a recording contract from Hollywood Records.
A mechanical bull helped Team Carrie Ann celebrate before the start of Country Week, but it was soon down to business rehearsing their first number. With the boys singing lead on "Devil Went Down to Georgia," Qis particularly stuck out for all the right reasons while Chris did not. Unable to place his microphone back in its holster, Chris tossed it to the side of the stage mid-performance. Although he continued dancing, he was from then out off beat and Bruno seized this flaw in his wrap up of TCA's performance.

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ane (Episode 104)
January 28, 2008It’s Motown night, kids, and one member of Team Carrie Ann or Team Bruno was sent packin’. But before America’s votes were revealed, we were treated (or subjected, however you see it) to two performances by both teams. Scheming his revenge attack on Carrie’s Ann ‘chorus line’ comment last Monday, Bruno decided to have a single performer take the lead for this week’s ladies’ number. Lacey was deemed the chosen one for TB’s rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Freedom.” And while she is an amazing singer, I feel like she’s already gotten her fair share of the spotlight over the past two weeks.

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Episode 103)
January 21, 2008“Pop Stars Night” opened with both teams performing “Spice Up Your Life.” Anglophilia was the theme, and our cheesy little host Drew said so much plaid never looked so good. Following the intro act, a staggering twenty-six minute recap of the past two weeks ensued (no joke, I timed it) before Carrie Ann and Bruno were finally brought out to be with their teams.
Getting a peek into Bruno’s “lean, mean song and dance machine," we were taken to their new digs, complete with an in-house dance studio and a sexy red theme. We also saw Bruno interacting with his group and watching over their first practice. While the team hit the ground running, one member in particular caused Bruno to worry—Phillip. Due to a horse voice, Phil was unable to practice and Bruno suspected that improper singing techniques were the culprit. Not a promising diagnosis this early in the competition.

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Episode 102)
January 15, 2008In head-to-toe white, the fourteen youngins' took the stage for an opening melody of dance-y hits, only to be followed by a serious announcement from Drew Lachey: one guy and one girl would be sent home at the end of the night.
Enter the judges, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli of Dancing with the Stars notoriety. I think Bruno totally gets his rocks off to these grand entrances. The shadowy stand-off behind the screen, the serious strut down the stage ... Bruno slaps on his extreme pouty face and works it!

Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Episode 101)
January 8, 2008
"Putting their reputations on the line and their friendship to the test," Dancing with the Stars' favorite judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are on a mission to find America's ultimate performers. From a coast-to-coast search, thirty finalists were invited to Los Angeles for a week-long crash course in singing and dancing (it's all very American Idol). A final performance (now we're headed into High School Musical territory) decided which fourteen hopefuls would proceed to the competition.
