After fighting with Edie, she tells Dave to leave. They show him walking down the street with his suitcases as he remembers what happened to his previous family. It shows that police officers came to his door and told him his wife and daughter were in an accident. Then at the hospital the Dr. tells him they had died. He is then being drug in to a psychiatric hospital room. The next clip shows how he meets Edie and moves in with her, who happens to live on the same street as the man that killed his wife and daughter, Mike Delfino. As Dave is walking, Mike is putting out his garbage and he tells Mike what happened with Edie. Mike offers for him to stay with him. He accepts because Mike says he owes him for saving his life. Dave's dream of revenge is salvaged.

Last time on Desperate Housewives, Carlos got his site back and Jackson told Susan he needed more of a commitment from her.
This week Bree meets her future in law, Melina. Bree tells her how thrilled she is that she could come all this way to meet her. Right away, she says it's time they decide on who gets the holidays with the boys once they're married. She immediately calls Christmas and Bree tells her it's not the right way to split up holidays. She says there has to be a more civil way to come to a decision. Melina calls Thanksgiving and tells Bree she better call Easter before she does. Bree is not happy but calls Easter. She also tells Melina that the boys would agree that they should discuss it instead of "calling" it. Melina tells her they decided fair and square and if she tells the boys she will make her miserable.

Last week we found out Carlos would see again after surgery. Orson scheduled surgery to repair his septum to stop his loud snoring, and Dave told the detectives he witnessed Porter leaving the storage room at the club.
Lynette makes breakfast for everyone and makes them sit and eat it. Preston eats quickly and tries to leave but Lynette makes him sit back down. The doorbell rings, Tom answers it and Porter walks up behind him. It's the police, they arrest Porter and read him his rights as Lynette and Tom try to ask questions and start freaking out. The police and Porter leave. Lynette sits back down at the table and Tom calls a lawyer.

After the fire from last week, all of the victims are at the hospital getting checked out. Gaby and Carlos are there because Carlos fell. They find out that there is a bone fragment on his optic nerve that is causing the blindness. The Dr. tells them that it can be removed and he should be able to get his sight back. Carlos is extremely excited while Gaby seems a little upset. He says he can't wait to see his beautiful wife and daughters. The Dr. informs them that the specialist won't be available for a month but that he will schedule the surgery as his next available.

As we start this week’s episode of Desperate Housewives, young musicians arrive at the White Horse Bar’s Battle o’ the Bands. But it’s not all skinny jeans-wearing twentysomething hipsters: there’s also a group of middle-aged men in (matching – snerk!) T-shirts. Carlos, Dave, Mike, Tom, and Orson, AKA “Blue Odyssey” are nervous, particularly since they’re old enough to be the opening band’s dads. Dave’s the only one who’s chill, telling his compatriots that “It’ll be a night to remember.” And oh, yes… truer words were never spoken. As the boys kick off their rendition of “Mustang Sally,” smoke starts pouring out of a grate in the wall. Edie, rocking out with the other groupies wifeys in the audience, screams, “Fire!” Everyone makes a rush for the exits, only to find that the emergency door is padlocked. The next morning, as news of the tragedy spreads, the word “arson” is tossed around. And somebody is taken into custody.

Don't mess with LynetteLast week on Desperate Housewives, we found out about skanky hausfrau Ann’s affair with sixteen-year-old Porter Scavo, and I threw up a little in my mouth. Lynette saw Ann emerging from the warehouse booty call, and thought she’d been hooking up with Tom. Currently, Lynette gnashes her teeth and plots Tom’s grisly demise as she waits up for him. When her husband shows, she tells him that she knows everything. And Tom… laughs. Oh, Tom, NO. Because he doesn’t know Ann was there, Tom grabs a beer and casually tells Lynette that he “wanted to bring her in” on the sitch, but was afraid she’d overreact. Boys will be boys! Lynette’s horrified ‘cause she thinks he’s talking about his own affair. Hee! If the Stooges had a conversation about infidelity, this would be it. Eventually, though, Tom mentions Porter and “some girl,” and Lynette’s jaw falls all the way to China. “You’re having sex with your best friend’s mother?!” shrieks Lynette as Porter walks in. Tom jumps up like he just sat on a beehive. Welcome to the Scavo family crisis o’ the week! Even I have to admit that this one’s a doozy.

Hee! Please welcome Carlos Solis... on the tambourine!First of all, a shout-out to Jennifer Simonovic, who took over the past couple of DH recaps while I was on vacation. I owe you one, Jen! As a masseur for the country club, Carlos Solis has become an expert on how to make people feel good. But one wrinkly old gal, Mrs. Hildebrant, is feelin’ a little too good, if you catch my drift. Ahem. That’s right; her world is being, er, rocked… right there on the massage table! And all he’s doing is touching her back! Carlos may be blind, but hey, there’s no mistaking the big O. His coworker is certain it wasn’t really an orgasm… until he opens Carlos’ tip envelope and finds $300. Gaby’s so thrilled, she fails to wonder exactly why her hubby brought home such an earth-shattering tip. So to speak. Snerk! And Carlos, being that he values his job (and his life) sure as hell ain’t telling.
