Up for the vote this week were Shannon and Ronnie.  It was definitely a boys vs. girls face off, with Holly rooting for Shannon’s return and Ben and Perry for Ronnie’s.  Holly again made no qualms about vocalizing her dislike for Ronnie, but in a ballsy move, Holly also directed her anger towards Perry.  Going after the ringleader is never a smart move, and although Perry bit his tongue, you knew he’d strike back at a much more crucial moment.  Needless to say, Ronnie’s arrival back to the loft was a tense moment for the group, and more importantly, marked his fifth victory against the vote.

Back in bottom three and up for the vote were Ben, Casey and Ronnie.  The usual elimination speculations ran rampant through the house, and Holly surprisingly vocalized her dislike for Casey and Ronnie.  She thinks Casey is useless and doesn't like Ronnie's new attitude.  Perry, already pissy from his phonecall with Amanda, snaps at Holly for dissing Casey.  But, alas, at that same moment, Perry's bud got the boot and Ben and Ronnie returned home to the loft.  Ben, still reeling from Cory's comment that American voted wrong by sending Casey home instead of him, vows to adjust his attitude.

Last night's episode was all kinds of awesome.  Frankie got voted off (Shannon was especially happy, saying he sounded like "Fran Drescher and a dolphin in a blender") and Casey's girlfriend dropped a serious bombshell.

Tyson filled the models in on Niki's surprise birthday party, which was to be attended by GQ editors and other influential fashion peeps.  Shannon and Holly decided to go domestic and bake Niki a cake, while the boys busted out their thinking caps and crafted Niki an original song.  Niki was thrilled, taking a big messy bite out of her cake and fake crying during the boys touching song, which featured such deep lyrics as, "You put all our asses in the bottom three, we're still standing here, fine as can be."

While Perry, Ben and Jacki sweat it out at the catwalk elimination, the rest of the models hypothesized who would be deemed unworthy of supermodeldom. The consensus was that Perry was about to get a major humbling lesson, but instead, he and Ben were safe while Jacki was left mouthing "F#*@!" as her name was called.

Ronnie was naturally thrilled at Ben's return (he even made a cutesy "welcome home" sign), and with Jacki's departure, Holly and Shannon were proud to be the last ladies standing.

Ronnie, Stephanie and Frankie were up for the vote from last week’s challenges.  By now, everyone in the loft has strong opinions regarding who should stay and who should go.  Holly was nervous Stephanie would get the boot, and Ben was obviously pulling for his bff, Ronnie.  Ben even loaned Ronnie a good luck pendant that he wore when up for the vote.  No matter who they were rooting for, the general consensus was that Frankie’s time was up.  But as they would soon discover, in Frankie’s words, “America loves me, and I love America!”  Ronnie and Frankie returned, and Stephanie headed home.

The other shoe finally fell for Katy this week.  Cory summed it up best in one blunt sentence: "Katy's very pretty, even hot, but she's not a supermodel."  Although she should’ve seen it coming (ciggies and carbs do not a model make!), Katy appeared quite shocked to get the ax while everyone else felt it was par for the course.  Back at the loft, the models were tearing apart those up for the vote, with Jacki and Shannon saying Ronnie (25) was too old to win and Frankie too confident and cocky.  Ben and Perry both stood up for their respective man crushes, and needless to say, the convo came to a screeching halt as soon as Ronnie and Frankie walked through the door.

With Jay being named the latest Supermodel causality, Katy and Casey triumphantly returned to the loft to walk another week.  Kudos to Katy for becoming America's little sweetheart in the elimination rounds, this week marked her third comeback (including the casting special).

The group gussied up and headed out to celebrate Ronnie and Ben's birthdays.  While at dinner, Jacki jumped out of character and revealed that she can fart on command.  Such a lovely talent, really, and the table naturally demanded to see a demonstration.  After some begging and pleading, Jacki was convinced to show 'em what she was made of.  I'm sure the judges would be completely thrilled by her performance.

Holly, Jay and Aryn head back to the catwalk to see who stays and who goes.  To the surprise of the other models, Aryn got the boot.  They were all not-so-secretly pulling for Holly's departure, likely because she's stiffer competition than Aryn ever would have been.

While the girls fawn over Holly and pretend they're happy to see her, Ronnie and Ben comfort each other over the loss of their third Musketeer, Aryn.  (I bet I know someone who's not sad!  Ben's wife.)  Despite their heartbreak, Ronnie was so obviously over the moon when Ben said, "Now we only have each other."  Doesn't he know what he's doing to poor Ronnie's heart?!

Dominick is pissed he’s in the bottom three. And he’s being a big jerk about it. So it’s a good thing he got eliminated, leaving Ben and Katy safe another week thanks to America’s votes. When Dom was told he couldn’t be made into a supermodel, he answered in a huff, “I’ll make myself one then.” In typical Dom fashion, he placed blame on everyone but himself, going as far as to accuse the judges of misguidance and for providing ill-fitting shoes. Really? Did he really blame his elimination on the wrong size shoes? Wow.

It’s week two of Bravo’s latest reality gem, Make Me a Supermodel.  On the hunt for the latest fresh face, hosts Niki Taylor and Tyson Beckford ended their search with 24 of the most beautiful girls and guys they could get their paws on.  In a casting special, 24 was sliced down to a final 14 who will compete in NYC for a $100,000 prize and modeling contract with New York Model Management.  It’s pretty much a caviar version of American’s Next Top Model.
