Make sure to read part one of this episode before reading this one otherwise you'll be in for a lot of spoilers. And, now onto the second hour of the season finale.
Hannah goes to Eddie's ex-wife to try to sort things out. She tries to be nice at first, but after his ex-wife makes it clear that she's never going to forgive and like Hannah, Hannah decides to just be firm. She tells his ex-wife that whether she likes it or not she's marrying Ray and Jasper and Casper will be part of that. So, she may as well just get used to it and put on a happy face for the kids. Hannah then invites her to their engagement party this weekend.

This episode focuses almost entirely on a girl that all the guys went to elementary school with. Her name was Angela Ferili. The guys learn that she has died after being in a car accident. Her death brings on a whole lot of memories, and therefore flashbacks, in fact the whole episode is flashback after flashback. But, who doesn't love a flashback or three?

We begin the episode with an over the top television ad for Cataldo construction starring Big Cat looking ridiculously cheesy riding on a horse. After watching the ad Nick and Eddie decide they should make a TV ad too. This gets Phil's creative juices going and in no time he has a sketch drawn up with his own ridiculous ad idea for Best Friend Windows. The concept is insanely over the top involving a full scale house, an asteroid destroying the Earth, mobsters, and more. It seems impossible, but Nick and Eddie run with it anyway. Why not go over the top when you're a best-selling author and making the big bucks like Nick, right?

After an unexpected three week hiatus, October Road is finally back. Nick is on his way to have brunch with Aubrey and her dad, who is still in the picture for now. On his way Nick fills Owen in on the never-ending drama that is Aubrey's dad and his many problems, namely gambling debts. At brunch while Aubrey is off grabbing refills Nick urges Aubrey's dad to tell her the truth about his gambling debts, but to no avail. Also enjoying brunch is Eddie, Janet, Phil and Pizza Girl (does she have a real name? If so I'm not aware of it). Janet suggests that Pizza Girl tag along with her and Hannah for a girls night out at Sully's. Pizza Girl is all over the idea and even yells out "yay!" and claps. Yes, she is a dork, but she's cute so we'll let it slide. Just after the girl night talk the phone rings and it's Hannah telling Janet that she doesn't have a babysitter so she may not be able to do girls night out. Janet gets an idea; Eddie can babysit.

Last week, Ray dropped the bomb that he wanted to adopt Sam and Nick caught Aubrey entering a strangers motel room after she lied to him and said she was going to a concert.
This week, it's time to clear some things up. But, first we start with some games. Eddie and Physical Phil are playing the Nintendo Wii boxing. Nick drops by and tells the guys (and pizza girl) about him catching Aubrey at the motel. Owen is also there and threatens to go beat the guy up. Nick leaves and later as he's on his way to confront Aubrey's mystery person Sam tries to talk to him, but Nick tells him he's too busy. Nick knocks on the door of the motel room and gets quite a surprise when the mystery person answers. It's an older guy, Nick is still thinking Aubrey is cheating on him, just with an old guy. Nick tells the guy that he is Aubrey's boyfriend to which the other guy tells him that he is Aubrey's father. I think it's safe to say Nick is a little embarrassed. Leslie (Dean Etwood) starts the morning off looking smokin' in a red dress. She reminds him about an upcoming dance that she'd love to go to. Bob isn't into it until she calls him an 'old fart.' And, 'old fart' he is, after she walks away he goes to stand up and only gets about half way up before his back starts hurting him. Ikey helps deliver a bathtub to Ray and Hannah's house. Hannah invites Ikey to dinner, Ikey gladly accepts the invite. Afterward Ikey tells Hannah that Ray told him about wanting to adopt Sam. The look on Hannah's is that she wants to kill Ray. It's been a while since we last saw Alison, but she's back at least for the moment. She drops off the kids with Owen and then pulls him aside to talk about their separation. She tells him that the other day she got asked on a date, but she wasn't sure what to say. She's confused, she asks Owen if he's been dating. He stumbles on his words at first, but then tells her that he has been going on dates and tells her that she should too.

Nick's dad, Bob, is enjoying his morning relaxing and reading the newspaper in pure silence, but the peaceful morning ends abruptly when Owen walks into the kitchen belching and talking about how many beers he drank the night before. Then, Ronnie rushes in looking for the sports section of the paper, Nick and Aubrey stroll in laughing about some party that is being thrown for some spelling bee. Apparently this isn't just any spelling bee the whole town celebrates it. Oh yeah, and we can't forget to throw Bob's girlfriend (?) the dean in there, she also comes into the kitchen looking a little rough after I assume having spent the night. As everyone is sitting around the table yapping about that boring spelling bee -- that they claim to be exciting -- Aubrey gets a call and goes in the other room to talk. It's a mystery as to who is on the other line, but whoever it is wants to see Aubrey right away but she tells them she can't and ends the call with "I love you." Ronnie overhears the conversation and seems to be confused. Hmm.. is Aubrey cheating on Nick? Later, Ronnie tries to tell Nick about Aubrey's secret phone call, but Nick blows him off at first until he mentions that Aubrey told the mystery person she loved them. At the same time Bob is telling Nick that he needs to suggest to Owen that maybe he should get his own place soon. Nick tells them he'll talk to both Aubrey and Owen.

After what seemed like a never-ending break, October Road is back! Let's waste no time in getting to the show.
The episode begins with Physical Phil holding try-outs for the guys' band. If you're like me you may have forgotten the band, so here's a refresher. The guys - Nick, Eddie, Phil, Owen, and Ikey - have a band that only plays in the living room and they have no instruments ... they just pretend. It's all rather high school, but then again it's Knights Ridge so what else do they have to do. Anyway, now that Ikey has been banished from the inner-circle they are having try-outs to fill his position as drummer in the band. The try-outs aren't going so smooth though with one of the guys accidentally tossing the drum sticks through a window and another guy clearly confused by the whole imaginary drums thing. Finally, Phil finds the right guy for the spot and it didn't even take a day, Ikey must've been pretty easy to replace.

Hannah is rushing down the sidewalks of Knightsridge with Sam, Jasper and Casper in tow. She's finally runs into "Hippy Bob" who looks as though he hasn't showered in a few days, but that's besides the point. She asks Bob to watch Sam, Jasper and Casper because her babysitter fell off a step ladder and sprained her ankle and she's already late for her board certification test. Hippy Bob agrees and takes the boys to get tattoos. Fakes tattoos, of course.

It's Christmas in Knightsridge, apparently they are on a different calendar than the rest of us, and a big snow storm is on its way. Physical Phil is hard at work decorating the Christmas tree and the rest of the house. Nick is grabbing a mid-day drink (it's 5 o'clock somewhere) with Ikey when he spots Aubrey at the bar. They get on the subject of Christmas which brings up good and bad memories for Nick. The good being that he loves Christmas, but the bad being that his mom died around Christmas time. Owen and his wife are at home decorating the tree trying to be civil with one another. They decide to try to do Christmas together for the kids sake and next thing you know they're in bed together. It appears these two may get back together afterall. Hannah and Janet have just gotten back from grocery shopping. Hannah is fretting about having to do a big Christmas dinner for her parents and Ray and all the kids. She has always wanted to have a big dinner and wants it to be perfect. Janet tells Hannah that she got Eddie the best Christmas present ever, but refuses to tell her what it is. Nick and Owen bring home a Christmas tree, but Nick's dad is clearly not happy about it. He tells him that his brother has a difficult time with Christmas and wants Nick to get rid of the tree before he sees it.
